I don't know what fight you girls where watching but Laraque definitly did not win. They both landed pretty much the same number of punches, a no one got the take down, so its a draw. Oh and just to give you an update, Flyer beat the Devils 3-0 and clich a playoff spot.
Thats because everyone but Flyers fans hates the Flyers, and they know that Laraque is probably the strongest, and one of the toughest fighters in the NHL.
It kinda depends on what MTL does tomorrow night.

YEAH i was there three times during the losing streak, the flyers ARE the better team and here is evidence to support my statement.
1.) Mar. 22, 1984; Pittsburgh 3, Philadelphia 13 (a single game record, it also happened against the canucks)
2.) Flyers all time record against the penguins: 127-73-31
3.) the Flyers have beat the penguins in 3 of the 4 times they played eachother in the playoffs
all fact... hoe this makes it easier to see who the better team really is.
