The problem is, that THEL is only a prototype! People see such stuff and think we are in star wars or something and think lasers are like magic weapons that can stop anything. Such a laser is very expensive to maintain and cannot handle 100s of rockets, shells at once. It would also be simple to overwhelm its fire control system with chaff rockets. The reduction of hits by 10-20 doesent justify this systems huge cost. Besides rockets can be made resistent to laser with reflective skins.

This "proof" of yours isn't convincing at all. What about palestinian militant websites that have videos of themselves setting up the rockets, shooting them and celebrating afterwards? And all the supporters that go to the page and cheer them on. All of that is a hoax? What about the actual video footage that comes out of gaza, of the rockets being shot. It's all aerial footage of the city as well so you can't say it's just some "Mossad" in a field.
