If I were you, I'd...

1) Change the Shyguy graphics. The old SMB2 graphics dont look good with redrawn graphics for the other enemies.

2) Enable layer priority on the quicksand tiles. Just looks better to have them in front of whatever is sinking in them.

3) Maybe tweak the foreground a bit, the hills are straight lines, whereas the level ground has little bumps.

You need to make that quicksand look better. Right now, it just isn't that good...

I made it exactly the same as in SMB3. It just looks bad because of the bad video quality.. :(

That's not custom music, I just edited that in with windows movie maker because the version of camstudio that I use doesn't record sound.
