  • TODD AND AARON AND WE BACK

  • i wish that the nhl had a young boss other than the old american greedy stubby pengiun lookin bettman. i had a dream one time mark cuban lol of all people was the boss in the nhl was the biggest sport in the world. maybe what the nhl needs is new young blood running the lnhl. look at stern and nba. half a season maybe and nba runs the bobcats and they block a trade just for their teams sake. shady shady stuff now a days. sorry for the rant just getting my youtube on lol

  • tapping each other after pounding each other! awesome! this commentater is hilarious!

  • Downey early, Fridge late=DRAW!

Good, short one in my book.

Downey landed 2 punches in this fight against Fridge's 3 though.

Fridge opened up well middle, throwing away 4 solid shots as Downey replied with couple ones of his own.

    Fridge with the takedown.

  • shut the fuck up ya crying bitch....lol

  • representing detroit. nothing describes the feeling of the joe!

    love micky redmond

  • micky redmond is great

  • kinda weird how boogard and fedoruk are pon the same team now, anyone know if their getting along?

  • detroit has best announcers, im so glad i get to listen to them almost every game

  • you guys can bitch about bettman all you want. its useless. hes never gonna win that fight. listen to the announcer... "they tap one another... thats the code"

bettman can make bigger penalties, or suspensions for fighting, but hes never gonna get rid of the code, wont happen. theyre still gonna fight, cause its needed, regardless of your arguements, its needed, and anyone would know that if theyve ever played at a level where you can actually scrap.

  • DETROIT ROCKS!!!

  • Yeah!!

  • id call it a draw maybe slight advantage to downey but the fridge knocked him out when he was on anaheim

  • love detroit (L)

  • love redmond

  • You to watch Downey and Boll to understand. :P

  • you don't watch hockey much, huh ?

  • the music in the background is played at perfect moments

  • i hate it when people spam comments if you spam this comment you will die lol everyone dies eventually except AC/DC and the rolling stones

  • downey took some shots but owns that fight

  • Aaron Downey is an awesome fighter, i miss him in Dallas.

  • i love mickey redmond!!! hes the best. downey is one the best fighters around.

  • nhl should encourage more fighting

  • not with Bettman at the wheel, it will continue to be discouraged until who knows what

  • amen to that. bettman is a fuckn fag. he should go back to the nba were he fuckn belongs.

  • HOLY crap i hate bettman. did he ever play actual hockey anyway? god i wanna kill that midget lol.

  • no it did not. it meaning bettmen. so do i.

  • he's ruining hockey. nah i dont think he played. can you honestly imagine bettman playing hockey. it would be funny.

  • He can be the puck

  • now that would be funny dude

  • @smokingpotatoes I totally agree with you. fighting in the NHL is awesome!

  • downey was a good fighter for the wings this year. he only had like 20 fights but he didn't lose very many.

  • I have his autogrPH

  • What Fight were you watching?

Draw. Fedoruk looked like he was lost most of the damn fight.

  • todd fedoruk...the fridge??? hahaha...

and these red wings announcers are annoying as usual...why does the color commentator call the fight?

  • Because its Mickey Redmond, and because he can.

  • haha allright...he talks way too much.

  • i thought they were gonna kiss....

    lol go red wings.

  • yeah your right... GO WINGS!

  • im sure he could whoop your ass, and have u ever even fought on the ice, not as easy as u think douche bag

  • Yeah dude seriously. I like all the tough guy experts who come on this website and start bashing the fighters in videos who have probably never gone themselves pretty funny.

And calling Downey a brawling chimp there sjvchris??? What an idiot, Downey won that fight or at least earned a draw, and do some research buddy and watch some more of his fights because he hasn't lost a single one this year so far.

  • never tried fighting on ice douche bag, but apparently you have....and lost. isn't the guy kicking his ass fighting on ice too??

    Errrrr.....

  • yeah? and we're laughing all the way to the playoffs!!!

  • ur jealous

  • you gotta love mickey redmond. (the announcer) when he sees 2 guys square off, hes more excited than a kid with a bag of candy.

    go mick

  • I'm a wings fan and I give it to fedoruk. He actually landed some good punches. Downey did good, but mostly glancing blows or not landing them squarely

  • Downey may have landed more punches but Fedoruk did take him down. I'd say it was a draw.

  • as a guy who's had a couple hockey fights, my feeling is that getting punched a lot is a lot worse then being took down, I'd give it to downey

  • Id give it a draw. Didnt see to many punches by anyone.

  • I love it when they're good sports about it.

  • Nice pants, Downey

  • I'd say Fedoruk won because he rocked the guy right before and threw him down at the end

  • draw, I was just glad not to see Fedoruk get knocked out.

  • Downey was a good pickup for Detroit

  • i wish the bruins kept him

    wicked good fighter

  • I'd have to give the slight edge to Downey... Good to see Fedoruk dropping the gloves again, after he was KO'd by Boogaard and Orr last season!

  • is it just me or did i hear rocky music in the background?

  • yeah me too:)

  • good sportsmanship

  • Mickey Redmond makes these EvEnTs a lot of fun! I'm glad I get to watch all the games he calls on FSN here in Detroit. The Red Wings went forever without somebody like Downey after McCarty left.

  • Man, I love Mickey Redmond. He is the greatest! He is probably the best color commentator in the NHL today. He is so passionate about hockey.

  • good to see fedoruk back!

  • Ya know, I wasn't to happy when Minnesota picked him up on waivers. But, He was been pretty good player to watch with limited skills. Glad to have # 17 with us now.
