Couldn't you also add the tape to the wig instead putting the tape strips on your skin? It seems much easier to do that.

Thank you. Your edges will not be compromised if you use the proper techniques for removal, such using adhesive solvents and waiting for the solvent to break down the adhesive/tape before removing the unit.

It's a matter of preference, you can use tape or adhesive. Some lace wig wearers are finding using both adhesive and tape provides a longer lasting hold, especially if the activity level in your lifestyle is high. Chemistry can also plays a role, but it's all a matter of preference.

and you can sleep in these wigs? do they get badly tangled??

Yes you can sleep in these units, you can choose to wrap your hair or just pull it back an put your scarf on. The great thing about lace wigs are that the hair is Remy which has less chance of becoming tangled, because the cuticles are still in tack and aligned in the same direction.

I do have people asking is that you hair or who did you hair. which is good because I'm a stylist. I find lace wigs to be very natural looking, if applied correctly.

can i use regular alcohol from the store to remove the tape?

Unfortunately not, but it can be obtained at your local pharmacy... make sure you ask for 99% alcohol.

Of course these steps can be done a lot faster, I put my unit on in about 3 minutes, but I really wanted take my time with this video, to make sure that a new lace wig wearer would be able to apply their wig correctly the first time following these steps. I also use this video as a teaching tool in my classes.

will the tape take your hair out if it touches it?

Not if you use the proper solvents for removal, such as C-22, pure, 99% alcohol, and wait for tape to release before removal.
