EVERY CHILD GOES THROUGH THIS. It does not matter their level of intelligence, their color, or where they are from. I rarely comment on videos, but the majority of the comments on here simply show ignorance and a lack of education. This video is showing a commonly accepted stage of child development. If you have ever worked with children or studied psychology you would have experienced this. Their reasoning skills are just starting to be developed. They figure amount in terms of space covered.

if it weren't for the fact the child is completely innocent in her reasoning, I would be calling her dumb as rocks. But it's good people are out there to identify these issues, and help them before it becomes a bigger issue

if it weren't for the fact the child is completely innocent in her reasoning, I would be calling her dumb as rocks. But it's good people are out there to identify these issues, and help them before it becomes a bigger issue

@M1xBlender I don't think you understand what you just watched. This is displaying a normal stage of development for all people. If the girls had a serious mental problem then she likely would not reach this stage of thinking. Child Psychology 101.

@gman17rapper girls actually at that age start developing faster than men, physically and mentally, thats why women reach puberty like 2 years before men, that explains why girls usually have better grades than boys (til the end of middleschool), men catch up and develop ahead of women after reached adulthood, thats why so many famous scientists are men

It's funny I was just reading about Piaget for a Correspondence course. I read these exact examples and chuckled, but people are ridiculous thinking these kids are stupid, they're normal. Kids just don't perceive size during this stage of life.

@CoconutVSPineapple Yeah, I was taught (for the brief time I was in the class) that this is just a developmental stage. Lack of Conservation is normal for kids that age.
