This was the first NES game I ever played. I thought at the time that it was the original Donkey Kong game. Then years later I saw screens of the very first DK, which of course looks totally different. I didn't even know it was a pirated version either until I've found this. Anyways, I loved playing it.

I'm sure that if Rare would have made an official NES port, it would have been nearly perfect, but there would definitely have to be elements taken out. Obviously, the main thing that would suffer is the graphics. I imagine that it would have problems with slowdown in certain parts as well.
