  • What is the stuff called that you use too protect your hair under the cap?

  • @NiaSoPurdy have u ever tried gro protect solutions?? it protects your hair from the glue

  • can i weave my hair if i have dreads?

  • @triniparadiseinflesh I don't see why not. :) Just be careful not damage your hair with glue. I'm a loose natural and I've quick weaved my hair while in cornrows with 2 caps over the top or it. Take note that stocking caps are not 100% effective. Some glue will still seep through. I notice that bound hair tends to be more resilient to glue, but you should still take the necessary measures to not get glue on your hair.

  • Excellent video, the hair compliments you very well, its very full. what length was the hair,

    was it human.

  • I very asil Asher asino I step putting the aviation extent but never thought of that and also put me and wig but I like the idea to thank the extent Excellency will implement

  • Can you just use two stocking cap?

  • @nishab53095 Sure can!

  • well i dnt have wrapping cap can i use bounty paper towel

  • This is great

  • your actual hair is almost the same length...What gives?

Is this a time management thing?

    it is cute anyway.

  • @michelleastaylor Yeah, time management and my hair wasn't as thick as I'd like.

  • how long will this last 4 ?

  • @angelb3a I never leave a quick weave in longer than 2 weeks!

  • terrible video can't understand a word she is saying she disappears and comes back with a full head of hair. this is not a tutorial

  • @oldbitty100 If you cant lay out some simple tracks you probably dont need to be doing yur own hair anyway nd it is a tutorial bcuz she is showing us how she does her invisible part so what are you tawkin bout

  • cann you leave some of your real hair out at the top to cover up the tracks ??

  • @miahashanti96 eww NO . that is ghetto & played OUT ! the way we lay the tracks down these days , you cant see the real hair .

  • hey nia, Luv the tutorial, thanks so much 4 the help, a couple questions 4 ya (or anyone else who can help). what's the length, how many rows did you put in & 'bout how long do you/can you leave it in? Thankx again, let's keep ourselves beautiful!

  • whAT DO YOU USE TO BOND YOUR HAIR?

  • here you go girl

  • I just started doing this technique as well... I use the stocking sometimes however there is this protect stuff, by morning glory, that you apply to the hair after you mold it with gell and all u do is rinse with hot water and it works. Ima upload a video of the next one I do this friday:) your video is good!

  • I love ur video! It was very detailed!

  • how long does this last

  • i really like this video, can you put wrapping paper on your whole head plus the stocking cap to reduce the amoun of clue on your entire head?

  • @shortstuff70491 sure can!

  • I LOVE THE INVISIBLE PART METHOD in this video; I'm not big on glue either...

  • do you use glue

  • what do you use to bond your hair?????

  • Whats the name of the wrapping paper that you use?

  • is it possible to do this wit like ur edges and the top out? so

uu dont have to make a closure

if so can uu show please?:)

  • how did you start this. You lost me because when you came back it was halfway done., did you start in a circular motion

  • what are you using to bond yur har down??

  • what brand of hair did you use ? and you did an amazing job ! :)

  • LOVE THIS!!! thanks..... where do u get the black wrapping paper from?

  • okay my hair is shoulder length what to to in the back

  • how many inches is the weave?..and is it layerd or all one length?

  • @alawndra 8 in all one length

  • when u spilt tHe trackS, what does it do? Does it make your HaiR lo0k fullEr ?

  • @sweetpee2007 split tracks r less bulky therefore making the weave look more natural

  • this is wonderful !!!!!! Ibeen wonder how do you hide you edges and make a part this is 20 thumbs up from JDiva Memphis Ten Let me know if you do a bob video

  • it looks so real ! :O

  • How long does your quick weave last?

  • if you use a stocking cap and glue the tracks to it,can you take the quick weave on and off ?

  • @ineedahero123456 no b/c usually the glue seeps thru anyway..the stocking cap just reduces the amount of glue residue

  • @ineedahero123456 , if you place a shower cap on your head before making your quick weave, you will place it on your head, then place your wig cap, then apply your quick weave. Allow it to dry thoroughly and then remove the plastic shower cap and you will then be able to take the quick weave on and off at you whim.

  • @ineedahero123456 if you don't want glue on your real hair you can put a plastic processing cap underneath while you are gluing it. It'll protect your real hair and you'll be able to take it on and off.

  • @ineedahero123456 If youuse a shower cap and put the weave cap on the shower cap you may take it off and can be used as a wig. Also I reuse my quick weaves all the time, even when I glow them on when I remove them the tracks are still attached to the cap,but if your doing the invisi part it want work

  • lol her fone rings in every tutorial..but this is a great video..cause idk wth im doing!!!!!

  • i tired the wig cap style, but i found after one week that my hair started to itch me like crazy i and i just recently took it out because i couldn't take it any more, you have any tips that it could make it less itchy. And also do i have to use a stocking cap? or can i use a wig net to make it? pleassee write back

  • see, the last time i got a weave she just put my hair in tracks and then sewed on the hair in the tracks. I never seen this paper and cap method before i might have to mention it to her or go to someone who knows how to do it. I have to ask how do you help your scalp from getting really itchy?, cause i know when i got my weave done every time it itched so bad to the point i had to rip it out! Any tips!?

  • Does anyone know if the cap slides off at all?? Reason being Is because i have fine hair (worried the cap may slide) and would like to try this as a protective style!! Thanks.

  • what knd of wraping paper is it

  • For those who dont want any glue on ur hair u can wrap the strips all over ur head then apply the cap, or place a plastic (shower) cap on ur head first (instead of the papers), then put the stocking cap over that. Can't do the invisible part this way but keeps the glue off ur hair.

  • can u do tracks wit out the stockin cap

  • yes but u'll get more glue in ur hair that way...the cap doesn't fully protect the hair it just lessens the amount of glue residue

  • what is the purpose of the stocking cap?

  • to protect the hair

  • Thank you so much for doing this video. This was my first invisible weave. I think I did a great job. I just finished and it's late, but I will post a pic tomorrow

  • i think your video was very informative. i'm just did my own quick weave using your video, so thanks. (oh, btw, far as using conditioner to get the leftover glue out, i bought some glue remover shampoo, i've used it before so i know it works wonders) thanks again!

  • and do you get glue on the rest of your hair, because i assume the glue would seep in, how do you remove that?

  • do yo put gel on the paper to make it stick?

  • Okayy wellzs, My real hair is the same length of your real hair, how do you wrap it and put it in the cap so slickly, what did you use?

&& i'm new at putting quick weaves in. I'm use to sow-in (which are tight and painful) i want to try somthing new! Should i use a stocking cap first? I don't want to damage my own hair!

  • all i did was slick it back into a pony tail n pushed the bump out with my hand....i used the brown gel (african essence or ampro is fine)...i recommend using a cap but there will still be some glue residue on ur hair...if u try this just don't use alot of glue...use just enough to cover the track and no more...n when u take it down make sure your tracks are loose...if they aren't use something creamy like conditioner and massage to loosen

  • Nia: what stocking cap did you use the oblique or the one with holes like fishnets? Also can you take the net like a wig? And thank you for a great video

  • the oblique kind....u can either use a sticking cap or a wig cap.....no u can't take it off like a wig...the glue still seeps through the cap

  • Actually most black men can't tell a weave anyway. . . unless they're gay. So many celebs wear them. . . wait damn near all celebrities wear them and black men seem to love it.

  • weaves r used as an option by me....i've always been a woman who likes to switch it up.....right now i'm rockin my natural hair minus relaxers...i have an afro now lol

  • wtf was all that about!? nobody asked you to come on her and be ignorant!

  • thanks!

this person has been blocked and deleted

    :)

  • So is this basically like a wig? it's not really attached to your head so you could take it off at night if you wanted? or am i wrong?

  • no the glue still seeps through the cap so i've discovered...

  • how do you remove the weave?

  • i usully just take something creamy like a conditioner n lather it on until my tracks loosen

  • oh! ok..does the clue seap through the cap.? because i keep thinkin that you can pull the cap off..and i dont want that to happen!lmao

  • oh yes it does!

i used two caps n still got residue

  • is there sumthin u did to keep the stockin cap on afta u cut it or it will stay on automatically?

  • what inch is this? :)

  • wen i do it i gel my hair dwn dan i put paper all ovr wats goin in da ap dan i blow dry dani put track on da wen i get to d top where i left pecies off cut the cap dan i track da track in my hair

  • what kind of paper is that..what do u mean wrapping paper?

  • Do you take this off when you to to sleep?

  • This was a really good tutorial video. I had this done to my hair one and never knew how she achieved the look she did. Next time I will be sure to try and work with your video myself. When I had mine done initially she left hair out in the front to cover the cap for a natural look. Is it pretty simple to do that and do u ever do it? That style looks very natural on you.

  • how do you get the stocking cap to stay on?

  • it's elastic so it just does it's thing lol

  • is this a fail?

  • what do u mean?

  • oh and what is the paper around the edges for ?

  • what is the bonding process ?

  • thanks for posting

  • i did my hair like dis n forgot to wrap wit the paper first but i rocked it still im bout due for a new one

  • CUTE

  • Hey girl I tried this and everyone LOVED my hair it was the shit forget what everyone else has to say lol. Today I am doing another one with mixed hair and It's going to be the bomb!!!!! again lol. you did well step by step better than these other females. you go girl. i didn't know about this until you showed me. thanx Brandi

  • and a shower cap is never good under the weave, it's breeds moisture, mildew and itch, believe me! you'll sweat and it won't be pretty for the other people who commented about it.

  • Hey an idea for the paper wrap to stay on, maybe brown gel on top of the paper and sit under dryer to harden it before applying hair? i am going to try this, that way, you won't need hairpins. I am going to do it and maybe do a tutorial with this step once i've mastered it, if you try it, please let us know if it works.

  • did the brown gel work?

  • Yeah girl. it kept my hair totally protected from the glue..and when it came time to take the weave off, it was like removing a wig once I loosened it up with some Oil sheen. Thank YOu!

  • yeah i also would like to know if the cap stays in place i am about to .start using weaves

  • what exactly do you apply to your hair to "mold" it before putting on the stocking cap?

  • can the stocking slip off or does the gel stick it????

  • myy name is NIA!

  • tHANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS UP. i DO HAIR, AS WELL AS MY OWN HAIR (BOOTLEG LOL) AND IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE A PART WITH QUIK WEAVES. iMA TRY THIS OUT :)

  • Thank you so much for this toturial! I have been wanting to try quick weave but i wanted a realistic looking part that kept my hair as protected as possible.

  • hey I see most people put a shower cap on their head first to protect their real hair from glue and the put the hair cap on and glue.

  • yeah i've seen it done that way as well n it's a good method :)

  • Hey chica, what abt putting the ppr on your whole head and then the stocking cap, will that preven glue from touching your hair too. i'm going to try this method eventually (lol) and then share the vid with you.

  • that's a good suggestion!

i use this method when i do one with bangs

but for this particular method i wanted a part in my hair for a more natural effect...i worked for me and i like this method...maybe u should do a tutorial and we can share ideas :)
