I had the choice between going to UFC in Dublin and TNA in dublin on the same night. I choose TNA and am glad I did. 3,000 people there but it sounded like 30,000.

Would have loved to have been there, but it sold out like hot cakes, and the tickets for pricey as fuck, 90 - 100 euro for the most basic ticket, watched the first few on tv though, the crowd was insane for the first match.

I could see Shogun beating Liddell despite how he looked tonight. I don't view the Ice Man as an elite LH anymore and is pretty much on the road to becoming a journeyman. UFC should be alright with the top part of this card. The winner of the Silva and Machida fight will seemingly give us a new number one contender for Evans' belt.

When a 44 year old gassed-out heavyweight that had to cut about 25 lbs gives you that much trouble and you can't put him away early, you know your glory days are long gone. Really dissapointing performance from someone who has beaten Rampage and Randleman.

To me UFC is a blood sport,even though im not that much in to it like i use to be. I know its a bad thing to compare mma fans to wreslting fans for example,IMO" they are much more wrestling fans by numbers other than mma fans,point is..with the mma style of fighting could be the next big thing to get more notice able compared to the ppv rates of wrestling,but i just dont see it happening no time soon though.

They know liddel is close to retiring so they want him to face a legend like shogun. They see the new shogun isn't as good as before and if liddel wins. Then they can make this whole story of liddel is back and shit, and put on a good promo for liddels fight after that, I still think shogun will win

Recommendation for you as a boxing fan. Please check out Andre Berto vs. Luis Collazo that took place tonight on HBO's Boxing After Dark. One of the best fights of the year that sure sounded like it was better than the mediocre UFC card tonight.

Its a clear Fight of the Year Candidate, despite being so early.
