Huh, so I just finished the anime. Quite possible the worst ending of all time for any show. Killing everyone except the 2 main characters, then one walks off as a huge cliffhanger. I was raging very hard at that ending, but the story itself was superb I wish it was redone with new style of anime, but I loved it non the less. BTW this song is hoss.
If they ever make a new berserk season they had better do it properly and to the same quality as the first one. If they can't do it properly then it's better if they don't bother at all. Just saying.

Serpico, Farnese and her family, Isidoro (isidro in english i think), or even Gambino (it means little leg in italian lol) are clearly italian characters (and maybe Guts too, he was found when Gambino and the mercenaries were traveling, he is different from other characters beacuse of his hairs, in contrast of many others that have blond hairs, so it's a possibility) and the whole Kushan thing is ispired by the crusades i think.

Have you read the Manga? So.. freaking... disturbing... I love it tho and recently watched the Anime. There are some slight differences but the music really captures the spirit of the story in general.

Unfortunately, the production company went bankrupt, so it was bought out. But it got really poor ratings in Japan, so the new company decided not to continue the show.
hm glad to know that. im new to these Berserk "facts" because i read it only last month. i still hope the series get a new season, now the arc is finished. in a way, that golden age arc shows alot of cruel violence against humans and only at the end the messed up demonic supernatural things happen. But though a great deal of "violence" (done by Guts) shift to "monster" slaying instead, it logically gets more of those disturbing demonic pictures, ESPECIALLY in the Albion (Birth Eclipse) mini-arc
I hope they do. I've been hearing rumors around the internet saying that it may start back up again, but it's going to be hard considering several members of the original japanese cast refuse to do it or are dead. :( I guess the manga will just have to do.

I wish people would just leave the anime alone.. it was awesome n' the ending was EPIC.. (I cant stand happy endings).. if you want the anime to continue - just read the manga.. if you cant afford the manga - read online.. I cant believe some of you suggest making an anime of the entire storyline or even continuing this masterpiece.. its wonderful, leave it as it is.

At the rate that Miura releases chapters it would be impossible to produce a continued series of the manga, sadly. I'm still hoping that one day, if he actually finishes the manga before dying, they will do an anime that will cover all the storyline.

Unfortunately, the production company went bankrupt, so it was bought out. But it got really poor ratings in Japan, so the new company decided not to continue the show.

hm glad to know that. im new to these Berserk "facts" because i read it only last month. i still hope the series get a new season, now the arc is finished. in a way, that golden age arc shows alot of cruel violence against humans and only at the end the messed up demonic supernatural things happen. But though a great deal of "violence" (done by Guts) shift to "monster" slaying instead, it logically gets more of those disturbing demonic pictures, ESPECIALLY in the Albion (Birth Eclipse) mini-arc
