my hobby is computer related repair and my parents are saying that its a stupid hobby and i should get a real hobby that will get me somewhere and my mom pushed me to the point that i went to the tech center and i am going to auto tech classes that will please her and shut her up and she is still not happy and i am stuck now and need help badly i am at the point of going insane any advise will be accepted good or bad as long as it helps me out.btw my hobby of computers is on youtube as well.

I don't have that much money really but i need out, i need me and my own piece of mind, my own thoughts and feelings, i just wanna control my own life. I should not tell them about anything liek that no more or they going to start crap again.
Does your auntie have OCD? because it's normal to be that picky about everything and doesn't let you go to school? that's just an outrage, your not getting the proper education you need because of her. To me id get out of there, i got a phone from New Look yesterday morning about a job but see i've already applied for a volunteer place so i cant do 2 things at once you know and they start yelling at me, telling me i'm stupid, trying to make my head all over the place but i will stick to my guns
I don't know i'm in the same situation.. the only thing that's kind of worked for me is appealing to other sources for statements on the fact that i'm a free person... ie in my religion they say we're free to make choices (not consequences)... I also challenge their harsh punishments.. If they tell me they're going to take away my phone i'll say we'll why.. if they still don't listen i'll try to tell other people about whats going on.. people that my parents talk to....i also recommend praying.
When I was 16 years old my parents would check up on me while I was in the safety of my own bedroom. Even today they don't see anything wrong with what they're doing. So these days I wonder are my parents controlling or if they're just mentally retarded.
You think thats bad try dealing with your parents hacking into your emails and reading every single one of them from ages 16-23, not letting you lock your bedroom door or bathroom door when you use the bathroom, constantly in your room going through your stuff just to try to look for trouble, and involved in all your relationships with women. Yea you can say move out but I moved out at age 20 and they still controlled me from a distance. Parents arent mentally retard, they are just very selfish
