What happened to this kind of music. Great lyrics, Great beat. Awesome voices, and just FUN music! Music really has went down the tanks. Bring back the REAL musicians again!
I walked into a bar in San Antonio texas one night and paid my 3 dollar cover. They said it was live music that night and that The Producers and The Tubes were there! It was awesome seeing both of them for 3 dollars!~
They remind me of 'The Records' (The British band) - They've got that same sound. Crisp, Clear power-pop with great guitar. Catchy stuff. This is why 'Youtube' is sometimes a great thing. I'll have to check out they're other tunerio's!
Hi Richarfarr. Thanks for adding your comment. Your work speaks for itself. This video has SO much energy and spirit in it and nobody ever gives the editor his or her due when it looks this good. I don't know if you can remember any details given the length of time, but did the band do the entire full-length version of the song and you had to cut it down to fit a shorter runtime? I know I had to edit the CD track to make it fit the visual...and not always in sync, I'm afraid! dave
Loved these guys and thought the debut LP and "You Make The Heat" should have made these guys huge. Just full of great songs. I loved the 80's and the early days of MTV. Man, what happened to that channel I once loved??
Love this song and Wayne Famous on the keyboards. One of the best bands on the early days of MTV and I agree with SnockRocks, when it really played music and not reality shows.
Edited or not, I absolutely love this song and love this video...especially the tongue-in-cheek chorus and the energetic performances!! Good sound quality, too. Makes me long for the early days of MTV when it was really a music television channel.
When will this be available on iTunes??????
