  • Hi there John I love your videos and your website I just ordered off of there and got lots of stuff could you please subscribe to me I need some subers thanks alot Your customer, Brandenhj1998

  • @hunttrap13,I bought a dozen of these traps from duke traps today n he said they didn't need dye wax or anything else but a marshmallow to catch coons.

  • they cant pull it out the ground?

  • @Coonhunting321 not if you stake it down. He used a disposable cable stake

  • Is it true that shiny objects atract raccoons such as tinfoil in a leghold pan

  • do you dye these, or spray paint them or what?

  • are cable stakes like that reusable, it looks like when you attach them through the trap swive; that they would bend up.

  • hey john, great video, if you did catch a cat, would it be able to be released unharmed? any paw damage?

  • @SurvivalInFlames theres no paw damage on the coons so I dont see why there would be on a cat

  • can you trap raccoons in the rain

  • @taxidermist123 oh and its legal to set traps by water if they are either dog-proof traps or conibears 4 feet above the ground

  • @taxidermist123 its only nov. 1st in one zone. its earlier in some spots and i think there is a part even a little later than nov 1st

  • how do you get the cable stakes out of the ground

  • didnt think you could tra[p near water till nov.1st in michigan

  • why did you decide not to stake the trap

  • Fantastic video!!!!

  • sardines put inthe trigger work great too from what i hear

  • do u just use marshmellows, like are they really that smelly

  • @TheBassfanatics marshmellows work great, the raccoon is more apt to reach into something soft then reaching into a hard trigger, they wont attract cats either. Just dab a little something sweet on the marshmellow and watch the trap reel em in

  • @pcsoutdoors so do you put it under or over the trigger? and can you give me an example of something sweet to put on it? thanks again!!

  • @TheBassfanatics just below the trigger, marshmellows are really sweet on their own but a variety of things will work, just remember they eat almost anything peanut butter, syrup, etc will work just fine

  • @TheBassfanatics honey works too

  • @pcsoutdoors I have good results using strawberry jam on a marshmellow.

  • @TheBassfanatics honey, syrup, anything like that
