  • Before I could by needles at walgreens I use one needle for 7months or more. It was so dull I had to hammer it in my arm destroying my veins it was scummy and had dried up blood I had to cut it in half cuz my plunger broke and try to sharpen it myself with a match book thank god I can buy them at any pharmacy

  • I just can shake off the feeling that we are encouraging drug use..I know this is harm reduction, but still..sigh...

  • @fongsiewli it's not encouraging drug use. users will use whether these programs are in place or not. but when you treat someone with respect that they may have never experienced in their lives you're inviting to treat themselves with respect. many people recover from drug use because of these programs. needle exchange programs also provide food, medical and mental care which empowers addicts to take control of their addiction by changing the relationship they have with addiction.
