i've alway though of el fuerte as the speedy, more agile and airbourne version of zangief. i mean, look at the similarities! they're both close-range, grasping characters, no projectiles, etc.

AWESOMe El Fuerte gameplay. I don't think I seen a better one yet. Hower i think you do too many random air grabs and you really could do the grab instead of the body splash sometimes, especially this match.

The move at 1:23 is his punch combos combined with Habanero dash cancels. Similar to Johnny's mist cancels if you play GGXX. The input isn't easy to do and takes practice, the whole input for that combo is:

Focus -> Punch -> QCF punch -> L.punch -> Punch -> QCF punch -> L.punch -> Punch -> QCF punch -> L.punch -> Punch -> QCF punch -> L.punch -> slide kick.

Do all those in 2 seconds...takes lots of practice.

ya it's hard to do, I'm only able to 3 punches and a slide kick once in my lifetime, I can do 2 punches and a slide kick 50% of the time. And this guy in the video can do 4 punches like it's nothing. Just gotta practice

Damn, this IS difficult. Just tried it out today. I agree, this is definitely possible on D-Pad as well, but I keep screwing up. Either my input is too slow, or I accidentally follow it up with something like Fajita Buster since I use Heavy Punch. T_T

It is probably easier on a stick, since most fighting games are meant to be played by a stick. But it's definitely possible with a pad, or even keyboard, it all depends on personal preference I guess.
