  • My Team will be Komova, Grishina, Mustafina, Sidorova, and Afasnayeva

After the 2012 Russian Nationals i heard that it was and interview with Afasnayeva were she mation that he will only be focus on Floor and master the Amanar!!!!!

  • @miguelg632 Where did you hear this? I think you might be making things up. Russia did not have their Nationals yet. Afanasyeva is too weak on VT to add a half twist. It will be a miracle if she can do a Amanar. Her DTY is ok enough for Russia and I hope she will make the team.

  • @AgymnasticFAN Agreed. I don't know if she has enough power, and a rock solid DTY is better than a messy Amanar

  • Yea i meant Sidorova's vaulting. If Nabieva gets on the team, its enough for bars. Its probably going to be Mustafina, Komova, and Sidorova for vault if Sidorova doesnt make the alternate, Komova, Nabieva, and Grishina or Mustafina for bars, Dementyeva, Komova, and either Grishina or Sidorova for beam, and Mustafina, Grishina or Sidorova, and Dementyeva for floor or if Komova can knock Dementyeva off for floor. It could be pretty solid russian team. please comment and give me your perspective

  • how is the name of the song?

  • @origimnasta Bring me to life von Evanascence :)

  • wow

  • Afanaseva is on the bubble of making the russia team. Russia is definetly going to pull out all their big moves and big stars. I think it would be Mustafina, Komova, Grishina, Dementyeva, and Nabieva, but Naieva only for bars. her vault gets really bad around the legs and so does Mustafina's, but a team without her is running a big risk of taking home gold. USA will give them a big battle, but i think Russia will take home gold if no one on the russian side screws up majorlly.

  • @smeetfan1234 I like your team but in on the border with Grishna. I think she can be replaced with Sidorova but, if the chose Grishna it could be good too.

  • @MrLalol123 Well it could go either way,but either way its going to have Sidorova or Grishina as the alternate Russia i think can benefit from Grishina's vaulting power. If Sidorova just upgrades to outrank Grishina,Grishina can become the alternate. Its basically coming down to who has the bigger difficulty to out-rank everyone.Nabieva can definetly be used for bars and vault if they really needed her to do it,which i doubt. But she can definetly can be used for bars which is a 6.6 to 6.7 d-score

  • @smeetfan1234 I think you mean they can benefit from Sidorova's vaulting power. Vault is Grishina's weakness and bars is Sidorova's SUPER weakness. But you're right. One will beon the team and the other will be the alternate.

  • I want it to be: Mustafina, Afanasyeva, Dementyeva, Belokobylskaya (spelling?) and Pavlova but I think it's going to be: Mustafina, Afanasyeva, Komova, Grishina, Nabieva and Dementyeva or Sidorova.

  • sick team!

  • @alacranmontoya Why?

  • @brdbarreira lol.sick means good.

  • @brdbarreira It's a good thing, like an unreal team.. Jeez how'd you not know that? Hahaha great video.

  • komova, mustafina, sidorova,nabieva,afanasyeva, alt dementyeva-grishina.

  • @concreto20 Actually Grishina could easily replace Nabieva

  • i feel as tho 2012 may be the year of the russians :)

  • To be realistic and according to the results:

    1.- Mustafina

    2.- Komova

    3.- Afanasyeva

    4.- Grishina

    5.- Sidorova

The 6th gymnast could be choosen between: Dementyeva, Nabieva, Paseka and Belokobskaya

  • @Axel780710 I don't know why people love Grishina so much, but this is a good team, and for me, on 6th, Nabieva

  • @brdbarreira Grishina is amazing and great talented..what a good job have been done by Aleksander Alexandrov who is training the Russian girls as he did in the past with the soviets...

  • @brdbarreira Grishina has a great powerful not only in Vault, she is a great worker on Uneven Bars and Beam, she needs to handle her nervous and without a problem she will be the new star from Russia...The battle for the All Around will be between: Komova, Mustafina, Wieber, Bross and Yao.

  • @Axel780710 powerful on vault..? lols.. look at her performance at the london try-outs..

  • @Swankdor And look the performance for American Gymnast ej: Jordyn Wieber and Alicia Sacramone either Rebeca Bross three of them failed, We will see in a few months who will win the Gold Medal, for me Russia is ready for win

  • @Axel780710 Agreed)

  • what is this song called ??

  • @emmysiucool Bring me to life, from Evanescence

  • If the Russians had some faith, and a good attitude, they could totaly win.

They always seem mad, and like nothing is good enough, that will hold them back.

  • Nice:) But I think it would be Komova Mustafina Afansyeva Grishina and Dementyeva.

  • I love viktoria komova her gymnastics is so beautiful . She's probley one of the most graceful gymnasts in the world today . People like her and mustafina are the people who should be talked about for winning the AA in London not Rebecca bross .

  • @aleanajadeskywalker I agree, Vika should win the 2011 Worlds AA over Wieber! She's 1st on qualifying round, hope she continue on this way!

  • @brdbarreira No she shouldn't have. STOP trying to take that placement from Wieber. Komova had a bad attitude, you cant win meets that way.

  • @gymnastjaiderz 1st of all: I didn't even talk to you... 2nd: when I said that, the AA finals wasn't over... and 3rd: Vika DIDN'T HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE, she is ABSOLUTELY right on being sad. I rather this to a fake smile. Just an advice if you don't know: NO ONE stays happy with a silver medal, at least you couldn't beat the gold medallist anyway, and Vika could have beaten Wieber. But's OK, I'm not mad with Wieber victory, she did a great finals, but I don't need to be happy with it

  • @brdbarreira I know that. I of course I cant bet Wieber! But I know when I say the "attitude" I am talking about her faith... Now I dont know what she was thinking, but it obviously wasnt positive because if it is: She would have won.

And that is from a complete Wieber fan..

  • @gymnastjaiderz Oh, sorry then, I misunderstood you, you're right so... I think Vika thought she would easily win when Jordyn had problems on UB, but we never know what will happen in gymnastics, so Vika wasn't right with that attitude. But's ok, I'm Mustafina fan, so I don't wanna see Vika winning the gold, I wanna see Aliya there... anyway, sorry for being rude with you, it's because I'm just tired of "Wieber Wieber Wieber"... but I saw know that it wasn't your intention... Sorry again

  • @brdbarreira I am sorry that I came across rude too... I am rooting for Bross in 2012 hehe.. It will be so interesting!

Battle between- Rebecca Bross, Jordyn Wieber, Viktoria Komova, and Aliya Mustifana :D

  • @gymnastjaiderz I like Bross, she's my fave from USA :) It will be a huge battle

  • Is Mustafina competing at Tokyo Worlds? Is she recovered from her injury now?

  • @dayita92 She wanted to but the focus for her and her coaches is on the Olympics; she was hoping they'd let her compete on bars and beam but they thought it would be rushing her back too soon. They reckoned it'd be 6-8 months for her to heal so we'll probably see her in spring 2012 at the Russian championships then the Europeans.

  • @ParanoidAndroidDA ummmm thanks for the information... such a shame :/ was hoping to see her... i bet she would have won the all around final this year too...

  • My team would be Aliya Mustafina, Viktoria Komova, Anastasia Sidorova, Anastasia Grishina and Anna Dementyeva.

  • the Russian is best gymnast the history since 1950 ,Romania since 1976 and the usa only since 1992

    the tradicion is tradicion ,

  • Pavs isn't on the world team :( The head coach said that everyone on the national team will compete more than one event...no specialists

  • Oh and the white girl at 2.02 haha sorry :)

  • @sypointe There are 2 girls in green: the one who appears at 0:43 (Viktoria Komova) and the one who appears at 3:04 (Tatiana Nabieva). The girl on white at 2:02 is Viktoria Komova

  • Who is the girl in green?

  • @sypointe Viktoria Komova, Vera Kolesnikova's (1986 Goodwill Games champ in gymnastics) daughter

  • Oh Mein Gott - geil !!!

  • question.. why does Aliya Mustafina cross her legs when doing dismounts and stuff? Is that poor form?

  • @DiamondBabyy10 I don't know why, but it get a deduction and definitely this is one of the things that she need to improve until the Olympics. And yes, that's called poor form, because the good form would be if she twist with leg side-to-side, and not crossed, if you understand me...

  • @brdbarreira Yeah, I get it. Thanks :)

  • All these Russians twist are so ugly, except for annals, they all need to work on them if they want a chance at gold

  • @surfer5111 Oh man, buy a life ¬¬'

  • I hope Komova and Dementyeva make it!! - My favourite russians to watch...

  • it is going to be a tough decision for all countries.

  • There are good gymnast right now in Russia, I think Alexandrov will choose the following girls: Mustafina, Komova, Nabieva, Sidorova, Grishina and Dementyeva, the alternates could be: Semenova and Afanasyeva, he said that Pavlova is good on vault but not with high skills in other, she is good on beam too, but is his opinion and finally he dediced who will be the 6 Russian Team

  • In my opinion it's gonna be: Viktoria Komova, Aliya Mustafina, Anastasia Grishina, Tatiana Nabieva, Anna Dementyeva and Ksenia Afanasyeva (Ksenia Semenova as an alternate), but I' d love to see Pavlova and Semenova on the team!! ;)

  • Viktoria Komova, Aliya Mustafina, Anastasia Grishina, Anastasia Sidorova, Anna Pavlova and Ksenia Afanasyeva as an alternate. I'm blinded by my love of Pavlova.

  • I'd see Komova and Grishina as AAer, Demy(FX, BB), Pav (VT and BB especially)and Musty(UB and BB)

  • Aliya Mustafina

    Viktoria Komova

    Tatiana Nabieva

    Anna Dementyeva

    Ksenia Afansyeva

    Ksenia Semenova .

  • In my modest opinion, the 2012 russian team should be Dementyeva, Mustafina, Semenova, Myzdrikova, Afanasyeva and Komova. Grishina as an alternate.

  • @MadeleinePhillips666 Thanks for posting your opinion, it's very important. When I made this montage, I didn't know about Grishina and Sidorova, and I really think that Grishina should be permanent on the team and Semenova as an alternate. I like Nabieva too, so I'd put her on Myzdrikova's place. Russia needs a good bars worker.

  • Comment removed

  • @brdbarreira Thank you for this! I really apreciate it. And you're right. Since 2007 Russia doesn't have a World Champion on UB. Nabieva should be the best candidate in 2010 worlds, but her prelims wasn't good enough to put her on EF UB. Yeah, Mustafina's routine is great and her dismount is S-I-C-K, but Nabieva's, Komova's and Semenova's UB routines is waaay much better. I put Myzdrikova on my list because her FX and Beam routines. BTW, thanks for made this video with the perfect Evanescence!

  • @MadeleinePhillips666 actually.. there can only be 5 in a team now..

  • What song is that please reply! :) Thanks. Great vid by the way!

  • @DakotaJane1994 Bring me to Life, from Evanescence

  • i really wish they win. They're soo beautiful gymnastics!

  • (Nabieva will be reserved)

  • Mustafina, Komova, Grishina, Sidorova, Nabieva, Dementyeva

  • i love gymnastics and that is amazing

  • what about anna dementyeva intead of pavlova?

  • MY favorite clip was seeing Pavlova's unscored vault from event finals in Beijing. . . seeing the light clearly red (since they didn't show it in the US) was hilarious. It was a mistake, but enough for me to keep someone off a team, especially considering it's Russia

  • aliya mustafina, AA,

    victoria komova, AA

     anastasia grishina AA

    ,anastasia sidorova Vault,Beam Floor

    tatiana nabieva. Vault, AB

  • @concreto20 Yeah, this would be perfect. But in each Gymnastics competition, can be only two athletes for country.

  • Afanasyeva and Pavlova <3 <3 <3 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mustafina is falling out! i think Xenia Semenova is a option!

  • @pilly2491 Ksenia lost most of her access weight we saw in Rotterdam.

  • Viktoria Komova, Aliya Mustafina, Anna Dementyeva, Ksenia Afansyeva, Anastasia Grishina. Nabieva as an alternate.

  • @lyndsiee19 Tatiana on Ksenia's place

  • @lyndsiee19 Same team I've been thinking of recently. Although, Anastasia Sidorova could easily replace Afanasyeva. Or maybe even Pavs if she somehow makes a great comeback.

  • @lyndsiee19 HI greetings from mexico, a MYZDRICKOVA SO?

  • I´m not so sure about Nabieva, she is good on the UB but her Amanar isn´t well executed and her other routines also. I hope for Mustafina, Pavlova and Komova! But to be realistic, it´s still a year to come and injuries can happen all the time!

  • I honestly hope Aliya Mustafina will be healthy and stronger than ever at London, she has a huge chance of becoming AA Champion and I believe she can do it! My team would be Mustafina, Komova, Grishina, Dementyeva, & Nabieva (maybe Afansyeva?)

Whatever the team will be Russia looks very strong and I hope they win in London! They were sooo dominate back then and now they are again! I hope they can do it! TEAM RUSSIA!!!! :) <3

  • @GymnasticsFan1144 Nabieva, better on vault, bars and beam. I totally agree with you on "Whatever the team will be Russia looks very strong...". Go Russia!

  • Grishina is better on bars than Nabieva. The only team that could come close to a Russian bars lineup of Mustafina/Komova/Grishina is China. Mustafina is capable of close to a 16, Komova mid 15's, and Grishina low to mid 15's - with upgrades coming. Dementyeva can just do bars in prelims. I don't see any use for Nabieva once Grishina & Sidorova turn senior.

  • Mustafina, Komova, Grishina, (Anastasia) Sidorova, Dementyeva would be the most realistic team. Sidorova everything but bars in prelims (she's a superb vaulter), Dementyeva everything but vault in prelims. Mustafina, Komova, Grishina on all 4 in prelims. A team without Grishina is ludicris.

  • @wineformybetches I never heard about Sidorova, but now I saw a video of her on floor, and I think that she's really good. But Russia needs a strong bar worker, and specially a strong beam worker, so I think that Nabieva should stay on the team if she makes a better execution. She has a strong vault and a strong bars routine. Grishina on Pavlova's or Afanasyeva's place, because she's has a brilliant beam routine.

  • @wineformybetches my thoughts exactly

  • @wineformybetches When I made this montage, I didn't know about Grishina, but so she would be to me in Pav's place

  • I think Anna Pavlova will be reserved... Anna Dementyeva will most likely to make it to the 2012 team. Aliya Mustafina, Viktoria Komova, Ksenia Afanasyeva, Tatiana Nabieva, Anna Dementyeva. Anna Pavlova and Ksenia Semenova will be reserved...

  • @brdbarreira pavs is still not gOing most likely

  • I dont think Anna Pavlova will make it. She isnt even on the National team this year. I think Anna Dementava will make it instead of her.

  • Umm what about demy?? Pavs should be alternate

  • @gymnist2009 I don't know, Pavlova is making her comeback... maybe she can be on the 2012 National Team, so I think that she can be better than anyone in that team if she wants. Maybe she can win a medal on the Olympics, and then stop training

  • @brdbarreira I agree to you. Pavlova is too weak to be considered at London Olympics unless she will really train hard to improve all her events and get the maximum difficulties for each apparatus BUT on her age, I don't think she can still manage to upgrade her D scores. My 2012 Olympic Team, Aliya Mustafina, Viktoria Komova, Tatiana Nabieva, Ksenia Afanasyeva, Anna Dementyeva, Ekaterina Kurbatova. GO RUSSIANS!!!!!

  • @qatarean09 Well... I just think that Pavlova still deserve to be on another Olympics, and receive a medal, that she deserved on 2004 and on 2008 Olympics and didn't received. But without Pavlova, Dementyeva certainly. Much people don't like Nabieva, but I think she has difficult, she just need to upgrade her execution. Semenova for me isn't good anymore, I just don't know what happened, she was perfect on 2008, but now, she seems to doesn't be the same person anymore.

  • @brdbarreira I think Grishina will be more valuable to the team than Dementyeva/Nabieva in 2012. I think Dementyeva will struggle to upgrade her difficulty but certainly deserves a place on the team, and Nabieva is just too messy to seriously put on the podium :L

  • @brdbarreira Actually, I love Pavlova very much, she's very elegant and powerful but with the COP now, she will have difficulties to gain higher points for the team as well as for herself. And I want the Team Russia to get the 1st team gold medal for Olympics. And speaking of Nabieva, maybe people don't like her because of her power, they are just jealous but she is really really good. Semenova should improve more to be at the Olympic Team.

  • @qatarean09 Well, maybe Pavlova won't make a good comeback, but who nows? I just chose Pavlova because I still believe that she can improve her difficult. We just can wait to see. About Nabieva, I absolutely agree with you. People don't like her because of her bad form, but she is very powerful and has some very difficult skills, she just to have a better form, and then she will be very useful for the Team...

  • I agree, but there are rumors saying that pavs is going to Uzbekistan like Daria Elizarova did. So i would put Anastasia Grishina in her place

  • I love this...well done :D I agree with all of your choices, especially Aliya, Ana and Viktoria!
