@imranite, like NBA Live getting cancelled and 2K's football game doing so well in 04 (NFL 2K5) that EA had to drop Madden 05's price $20 ($49.99 to $29.99), thats why they got the rights (scared Madden would die). 2K's baseball was better (2k, 2k2, 2k3, 2k4, 2k5 & 2k6) but started downfall 07-11. Same for their hockey. EA is shitty and i just can't support them.

I say simpler then 2K11 but not better. 2K11's Presentation is better the graphics are better as well as the physics of the game. However where MLB 11 gets it right is in the pinching mechanics which I will agree is simply better then the much complex pinching mechanics in MLB 2K11.

I prefer 2k11 over this, the show although the graphic look some what better they look more "rubbery", even though 2k11 is a little more laggy online what game isn't? Plus pitching in this game is easy as fuck you use a meter where you just press x to determine speed and accuracy, the only thing this game has over 2k11 is graphic and they aren't even all that complete... really just the shine on the batter's helm and texture on the bodies on the players...i'd give this game a 8/10, 2k11= 9/10...

@DwightHowardSup3rman actually, for pitching, u can use the analog stick for it.. the gameplay is way better in the show.. the pitches are faster than in 2k11... in 2k11 when a pitcher pitches, the ball takes like 2 secs to get to the plate which gives u enough time to see if its a ball or strike.. in the show, the pitches are faster, almost identical to how fast real pitchers pitch

@royalrumblewinner If you turn the difficulty up its not like that on legend it only takes 2 blinks for the ball to get to the plate you have to adjust the difficulty sliders my friend batting on rookie is like a guaranteed HR everytime because of how slow the pitches and the batting power etc... and watching this video looks the same as 2k11 in pitching on like rookie... Look at 3:30 that pitch wasn't fast at all...
