I just attended a John McCain rally and beside John McCain stood Thomas Moe who was also Vietnam POW from 1968 to 1973.
Thomas Moe gave a speech in support of John McCain. He was very clearly proud of thier friendship.
I would also like to note that John McCain said in his speech "I am not a hero" ( I disagree) . He did go on to thank all the veterans and active duty military and called them the heros.

What a transparent smear this video is! McCain NEVER claimed to be the top prisoner and has often spoken with respect of his fellow prisoners. Perhaps he was not religious in his youth as this man states, but that does not mean he "suddenly found" religion to capture the evangelical vote.
