You're gonna get called for an elbow if you lead the hit with the point of your elbow or with the triceps (back of your upper arm like a chicken wing). It's tough to call the top of the forearm as an elbow. He didn't lift his arm up til after he made contact 1:00 and he didn't leave his feet; looks clean.

I love how the first thing you notice after the hit is the elbow elevated about 3 feet higher than it should actually be. I dont really see how a player like fedotenko would take a "CLEAN" hit with his head up like that and be so shaken up. Kinda proves the "CLEANESS" of the hit doesnt it. So for all you jackasses out there... get over yourselves.

if you look at the hit and stop listening to the play-by-play, you would see it was not a clean hit. the hit was made with the forearm and elbow. amazing how people believe what they hear.

As a Pens fan, I would like to say this was a legal hit. Legal or not, you still have to beat down the opposition from time to time so that you don't become the doormats of the NHL.
