  • It is at this time of the year that many who lived the events that are detailed in these videos take time to reflect and in doing so, may find yourselves here viewing them. I pray that the blessings and mercy of Almighty God be upon you. I especially ask God to comfort those who lost friends and family during the 4-1/2 years of the Revolution, Bloody Wednesday and the Liberation. Stand strong and for the Love of Almighty God, never forget the lessons he gave you to pass on.

  • @MadBrad325AIR May God bless Grenada. I will never forget the assistance given to me and my buddies by the Grenadian people. They helped save our lives with the information they passed on to us, which was many times more accurate and effective in helping us complete our mission than anything passed on by the "Intelligence Community" or our Chain of Command.

  • A couple of facts: the "heritage" that was alive Grenada back then was US banks going to the island and favoring the mulatto class for jobs. My family is from that class,I should know. Also Coard hated Bishop bcuz when they travelled to the USSR Bishop saw the lines for bread and decided that communism was not going to last. Coard was a fanatic. Reagan did what Bush would do later in Iraq, he embelished. There were no plans for a naval base. Only a much needed airport. That said communism sucks.

  • @IronPatriot26 Thank you for that enlightening contribution IronPatriot. Anyone who looks back on Bernard and Phyllis Coard can easily see the murderous ambition that they tried to disguise as admirable revolutionary zeal. I have never heard about the epiphany that Bishop had in the USSR.

  • NO COMUNISM!!!!

  • MADBRAD>10 WELLBRAN>0

  • US invaded a British colony, so it was illegal

  • @WELLBRAN You are wrong. Grenada ceased being a British colony and became an independent Nation on February 7th 1974. As shown in this video, Communists seized power on March 13th 1979. The Bloody Wednesday Massacre took place on October 19th 1983. Liberation by U.S. Forces began on October 25th 1983. As also shown in this video series, the people of Grenada were thankful to see us when we got there. It is only someone who loves murderous Communist scumbags who took offense/still take offense.

  • @MadBrad325AIR It was still a member of the commonwealth so nothing to do with USA also the Airport is named after Mr Bishop...hows that then?

  • @WELLBRAN I don't know how either of those two facts would in any way mean that the Liberation of Grenada from the Revolutionary Military Council and the assembled factions who executed Prime Minister Bishop was in any way illegal. It was exactly what was needed and was the right thing to do. Anyone who was there at the time would tell you that, even many of the former PRA.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Ok if it was an INDEPENDENT NATION why was USA invading it????? your logic or rather US logic does not or never did or never will make sense ....will it? USA is the scourge of the planet, I think the rest of the world should invade USA and RESTORE DEMOCRACY....sound familiar?

  • @WELLBRAN Obviously you weren't there. Can you maintain some intellectual consistency please? It is illegal to liberate a nation from it's national murderous Communist menace because it is a British Colony, Protectorate, Commonwealth Nation or Independent Nation? I get confused at this point if I'm to follow your logic. Grenada was liberated from murderous, power hungry, vain, greedy POS Communist Thugs and for whatever reason you think that is a bad thing or illegal. Join the real world.

  • @MadBrad325AIR no you listen Granada was a former British Colony, and was at the time a commomwealth member if anyone was going to do any liberating from communists or whatever, it would be Great Britain NOT USA, and Britain should make that judgement NOT USA, did you help us in Falklands...not very much! Because you were not bothered about falklands, but you thought a tiny island with a socialist Gov't would INVADE USA. lol what a laugh you are.

  • @WELLBRAN "No you listen". WOW. You must feel threatened. Funny stuff there Limey. First of all, Granada is in Spain. Grenada is in the West Indies. Great Britain wasn't lifting a finger to help the people of Grenada. You ignore all the facts about the American citizens medical students, one of whom has made comment here. It doesn't matter what you think. I was there. The people I helped liberate still correspond with me to this day and they always express their gratitude.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Sorry for the spelling had you rushing around on google earth no doubt, no I am not threatened by you at all you STILL do not get it, USA had no business in that island or anywhere else that they have invaded over the past decades you are very quick to invade certain places and yet some that we EXPECT you to invade....you don't! WHY is that? next stop of you is libya ..but no north korea?

  • @WELLBRAN Negative. On the evening of October 24th 1983 after the alert for Urgent Fury was on but we didn't have our Operations Order yet, the rumor going around is that we were being deployed to Granada. It had us all confused because we hadn't gotten any intelligence briefings on trouble in Spain in thr previous months. Your arguments are old and your tactics are predictable. You can't win a debate on the topic at hand so you shift to others. Typical behavior for you and your Comrades..

  • @MadBrad325AIR Ok you had no business in Grenada or if asked you had no business in spain either as both were NOTHING to do with USA hows that? plain enough? USA should not invade any other country...simple. Even you might see it one day,

  • @WELLBRAN Well a couple of posts previously you sounded like you would like to see the U.S. invade North Korea. Actually I took care of PLENTY of business in Grenada and even former PRA Soldiers (Officers * Enlisted) are grateful that we took care of an out of control situation they were caught up in. We brought their national nightmare to an end. You think it is intelligent to try to argue a point without any context. You have only shown and continue to show your EXTREME ignorance.

  • @WELLBRAN We don't attack them because we are threatened by them, we attack them because we believe all humans deserve the ability of life, liberty and the persuit of happiness. Libya is having a Revolution, lots of civilians are being killed, we dont want that, revolutionaries are pro-democracy, so we help.

If North Korea was having a Revolution and they were killing many of they're people, we would probably interviene too.

  • @rippers777 well said RIPPERS777

  • @rippers777 This is not true Burma has been fighting for democracy for decades. They have asked for help time after time while being slaughtered by the tens of thousands.

  • i don't understand how anyone with sense could identify the DEMOCRATIC ELECTION of Obama in 2008 with a SOCIALIST REVOLUTION in Granada. Nobody raised a weapon, nobody was coerced in any way. I will remember that on the day when people like you spill the blood of your own countrymen for your destructive ideologies.

  • @447GHT Go to the :35 Second Mark in the video where President Reagan said; "Nowhere in it's sordid history have the promises of Communism been redeemed. Everywhere it has exploited temporary economic suffering to seize power (The financial "crisis" of September/October 2008) and institutionalize economic deprivation (TARP, Stimulus, QE2, QE3) and suppress human rights (Taxpayer funded Abortion, rationed healthcare/hospice/euthanasia for the elderly).

  • Long Live the Revolution.........

  • @greenzemprezz It's been long dead, just like the ideology that helped Grenadian Soldiers rationalize the torture and murder of their fellow citizens.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Thanx. My passion got the better of me. I just can't stand tyranny. This is the attitude Americans used to have. A zeal for liberty, and a flaming hatred for oppression. Now, most American men have been neutered by feminism, shamed into silence by cultural Marxism (otherwise known as "Political Correctness"), have been made impotent by fast food and drugs, and are losing their money to socialist devils. Unless their is another revolution, the torch of liberty will be extinguished

  • @GiveMeLiberty3 A Cuban man with Passion? Is there any other kind?

  • @GiveMeLiberty3 I am talking about Cuba's struggle for indepence from Spain which took decades and hundreds of thousands of lives. I am talking about the tens of thousands of Cuban peasants that starved to death in Spanish concentration camps and the few desperate men that were facing an army of half a million Spaniards, no weapons, no food, living in the jungles and mountains fighting desperately to free their island from tyranny, from terrorism, from oppression. THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!!

  • @GiveMeLiberty3 I'm hearing you Brother. Cubans are among the toughest people on Earth. Like I said earlier, I'm glad I asked for the clarification on your previous remarks. I live in Florida so I'm very appreciative of the Cubans who came here to get away from Castro. They are most uniquely qualified to educate people here about the dangerous times we are living. May God bless them all.

  • We die far the Fatherland! We die for our liberty! We die for the revolution!

    PATRIA O MUERTE!!!

    FATHERLAND OR DEATH!!!

    *No I'm not a commie*

  • @GiveMeLiberty3 Okay, "Notacommie", your sloganeering sounds a bit socialist, perhaps National Socialist. What "Fatherland" are you talking about? What Revolution? Those are some mighty big words there, so I think we all deserve to know what exactly it is that you are talking about.

  • @MadBrad325AIR What is it that sounds socialist to you? Patria o muerte? That is the motto of my country of origin, Cuba. It means Fatherland or death. Does that sound like National Socialism? I will have you know, sir, that the Nazi's did not have a copyright on the word "Fatherland". That is a very common phrase in Spanish used by Cubans to refer to our country as well as by other Hispanic peoples to refer to their country. What Revolution am I talking about?

  • @GiveMeLiberty3 Well Brother, I think that asking you for a clarification may be the smartest thing I've done all day. I had no idea that Cubans used that term. I learned Spanish from the Daughter of the Cuban Ambassador to Japan during the Batista days. She told us lots of stories but I never heard her use that phrase. The best advice on romance that I've ever gotten has come from old Cuban men. I have lots of respect por los Cubanos.

  • Invasion of Grenada was done in order to take America's mind off of the Beirut Barracks Bombing.

My countrymen are so fucking pathetic.

  • @Illimitus Really? Do a fact check. The Beirut Bombing took place on October 23rd 1983. We hit Grenada on the 25th. What kind of military genius manufactures the idea that liberating an island in the Caribbean from murderous Communist thugs was the proper response to something that happened in Lebanon, and put the whole thing together to execution phase within 48 hours?

    Get real.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Yeah. We were already at Hunter Army Airfield when Beirut happened. Don't think they decided to send us there just in case we were attacked in Beirut we could invade Grenada.

  • @Illimitus REALLY I MEAN REALLY WHAT A FUCKING IDIOT.....IM FROM GRENADA U ASS AND GO TO .SGU.EDU FOR THE AMERICAN SCHOOL...ITS NOW A TOP MEDIACAL AMERICAN SCHOOL WHICH WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN THERE IF THE US DID NOTHING.... THERE WAS 500 AMERICANS ON A 12 MILE ISLAND... THATS NOT A THREAT...DO YOUR RESEARCH....19 SOLDIERS KILLED IN 3 DAYS.. THATS ALOT

  • "When I die I'll go to heaven, cause I've spent my time in hell. Grenada, '83 ."

  • @cunt3d Hoouh!

  • the best time of grenada maybe today 30 year we have parks , buildings and factories, but rightnow only we have unproductive forest and unemployment. large population living abroad, grenada is dead contry and dependent on family remittances

  • wow. I'm saddened.

  • Urgent Fury was successful!

  • Thank you a lot for uploading this video. Urgent Fury was a complete success, I can't imagine a north korean or a east german commie in Grenada.

Very good video, greetings from Perú, a latin american country (Grenada is not a Latin American country)

  • fuck usa u get urs 1 day

  • @TheSr1m fuck you

  • @TheSr1m Maybe you will be the big bad boy to give it to us. When you grow some balls and decide to try one day, PLEASE look me up so you can find out what its like to be my bitch.

  • Hey Mad Brad, you sure are mad.. you sound like Hitler! Its because of people like you that Castro is still in power. Maurice Bishop was not communist he was socialist and believed in democratic values. He was building a civilian airport for tourism. Do you know how long it took the United States to hold elections after the revolution? 13 years! You are ignorant but Jesus said love your enemy. I love you, I hope that doesnt scare you but I wish you peace in your life and for your family.

  • @rodstah620 You are mistaken. Hitler was a Socialist. He put people up against a wall and had them murdered for political reasons, among other things. Maurice Bishop (Socialist as you say) had Grenadians tortured and murdered for political reasons, among other things. He got what he deserved because what goes around comes around, especially when your so-called "Friends" (aka fellow Communists) bring it to you. As for Socialist -vs- Communist, they ALL study the COMMUNIST Manifesto and live by it

  • @MadBrad325AIR I am very sorry to tell you Hitler was a Fascist extreme right! Did not study the communist manifesto, so was Pinochet in Chile and you are turning into these evil monsters that are just as evil as Stalin and Castro.. It is sad that you don't know the difference.

  • @rodstah620 NAZI = National SOCIALIST. Stalin & Hitler were different sides of the same coin. Same goes for Maurice Bishop & Bernard Coard.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Bernard Coard murdered Maurice Bishop either because he was in with the CIA or an extreme communist. Coard is the one who implemented the 4 day curfew. The only "poltical prisoners" Bishop had were memebers of the Mongoose Gang, and the terrorists who bombed a community meeting.

  • @rodstah620 What about Ras Bat Eye? That's right, once someone is dead there is no need to keep them prisoner. Your knowledge of what happened to "Counters" is severely lacking.

  • @rodstah620 We DO agree about the direction of the United States though. What else can be expected when the people elect a Communist to be their President?

  • @MadBrad325AIR Even though the Nazi party was called national socialists they wanted to wipe out communists. Dont get fooled by the party name of their true nature. Nazis wanted socialism once all the poor and minorities were murdered. Sure you can call the Bush's socialist within their own family. One of the pillars of socialism is taking care of everyone, Fascism is against this due to the anti-immigration stance of fascism and the usual authoritarian power favoring a "favorite".

  • @MadBrad325AIR Oh yea a communist would bail out all the banks.. sure buddy.

  • @rodstah620 Yes, it's also called plank #5 of the Communist Manifesto. Look it up.

  • @MadBrad325AIR A communist would nationalize the banks not bail them out!!!!!

  • @rodstah620 Like the stupid Communists they are, money that isn't real was used to prop up the system in their image. It will all come crashing down soon enough, like every Communist scheme that has ever been executed throughout its godless, murderous history.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Exactly, Obama did the opposite of what communist would do.

  • @rodstah620 Yeah, right. You are quite a comedian.

  • @MadBrad325AIR You seem to make a connection between being a leftist and murdering political opposition. Please look up Augusto Pinochet, Francisco Franco, Omar Al-Bashir, Benito Mussolini, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz. These are like you, people who hate communism.

  • @rodstah620 Even GOD hates Communists (See Proverbs Chapter 6). Killing Communists is NOT Murder. It's pest control. Francisco Franco had the right idea and actually DID something with it.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Jesus was more communist than capitalist, jesus was an undocumented immigrant in egypt. Jesus did not believe jews were the chosen ones he believed everyone had the right to study scripture.

  • @rodstah620 If Jesus was a Communist then Communism would not have failed everywhere it has been tried. Go study some scripture and you will find that there are things that God hates. ALL of them describe every Communist I have ever known. NO Communist I have ever met exhibited the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.

  • @MadBrad325AIR If thats the way God worked there would be no suffering in the world. I love how you put words in my mouth. I did not say Jesus was communist, I said he was more communist than capitalist. I have studied scripture and God hates no one. He even loves u, who preaches hate. I personally believe in the Nordic model, were the rich are taxed heavily and the poor are given a break. You will see this part of the world has the largest middle class. There is your case of succesful socialism

  • @rodstah620 How about I just preach from the Bible, Proverbs, Chapter 6 - "16 These six things the LORD HATES, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren".

That perfectly describes every Communist I have ever met.

  • @MadBrad325AIR Sounds like Hitler and Bush to me.

  • @rodstah620 How is it that you left out Stalin? I mean you WERE talking about him earlier. He DID murder many millions more people than Hitler did. What about our President who fights so hard to insure that the abortion industry stays well funded at the expense of taxpayer? That's wealth redistribution that enforces mass murder, mostly against black people. You seem to be very selective about who you are willing admit are mass murderers.

  • @MadBrad325AIR I left out a lot of people Mad Brad, those were just the first non communist that came to mind since you said that proverb applied exclusively to communists.

  • @rodstah620 Then I find myself in agreement with you again. There are MANY non-communists those verses do perfectly describe. On that we DO agree. There are NO Communists to whom those verses do not apply. The world is in a sad state of affairs my friend. King Solomon said that to increase ones knowledge is to increase ones worry. Since I was a child the instruction that has given me knowledge has given me keen insight on the times we are living. It is not something that is comforting to know.

  • @MadBrad325AIR I am impressed by your mature comment. I'm not being sarcastic. Remember to remain teachable that is something we all forget with age, even myself. The world is inexcusably unequal. Extreme socialism when everything is government run is not good but neither is savage capitalism where everything is private. We need things like firefighters, police officers, public transportation, and health care. People who have 3 boats 4 houses 5 cars hurt the world, greed my brother is a disease

  • my uncle james was there anyone here know him?? James Callahan 1st rangers

  • Nukes should have flown back in 86....

  • look at that bohemian clown reagan, done danced in the grove a million times by now.

  • @MrChococa NOT SPAM

  • Dirty little commie.

  • America America...smh.........they are to the right and you dare not be a leftist (ooh no hell no) poor Grenada being accused of building a military base there....but why would they have even done that........c'mon "our tiny little island" we have nothing to gain.....military in the caribbean far fetched. and all he focuses on is his country's safety...why does he look at Grenada as something he should control..America did nothing for Grenada....all our aid came from different MDC's

  • my uncle gary was one of first army rangers to jump in granada

  • @Americanlegend22 wow! you must be proud to have a class A hero as ur uncle. Do u keep tellin that bullshitstory to your offsprings fo decades? u make me sick

  • @Americanlegend22 outstanding! shake his hand for me, sir

  • What is the most important methods to rule Carribean island countries in next centuries?

Obviously, it is not military intervention.

    Obviously, it will unmilitary methods.

    Perhaps,It will economy and culture

    and education.

If I am a US president, I will rule the Carribean Island conutries with DISASTER COOPERARTION

    There is a good example - Haiti earthquake(January 2010)

  • US can put military bases in another countries or have weapons of mass destruction...but NOBODY ELSE CAN....(that's why US cemeteries are the biggest in the world of young man dead)

  • In reality it was a show of strengh, grenada was a common wealth country, and the us was angry that the UK did not need there help in the falklands and said that the UK would not be able to take them back

  • Did Reagan really think that Grenada posed a threat to us?

  • actually, the Reagan was more concerned for the safety of Americans already there, as well as any threat that Grenada may pose to the U.S. in the future. at the time of the invasion though, there really wasn't any threat to the U.S.

  • @whitesox889 we had people there thats maybe the main reason we had US citizens and detained college student tat were rescued it was like a rescue mission if u will

  • @imdakingofny another big reason was because the soviets were building an airfield there and intended to use it as a base to help their allied aggressors castro and ortega wages terrorist campaigns in places like el salvador and Guatemala, as well as be in a position to threaten shipping lanes

  • @whitesox889 YES...IN 3 DAYS 19 AMERICANS DIED .... THATS ALOT

  • A veteran of the 101st Airborne Division has made a point of embarassing himself here with his comments. I would have prefered to have left them here to bear witness to his ignorance. Sadly I accidentally deleted one of his comments, so being a good sport I deleted all of them including my responses. If Raphael would like to return and humiliate himself some more he is welcome.

  • @MadBrad325AIR What exactly did he post? (Co. C / 2-505 here)

  • @LordSnow69 Nice to see you Oh-Five. A gentleman named Javier took exception with the fact that our President is a Communist. He is an ignorant dope on a rope. History is something he is quite ignorant of.

  • Thanx 4 puting this up.
