I can't quite believe that ITV paid for that cunt to travel the globe as a cock. The shot of him "malleting" that camel (being lead by a reserved and humble guide) in front of the pyramids of Egypt, one of the last remaining wonders of world, surely befits his meteoric fall from fame just a few years later. Never mind "look at each other and say Bleurgh" what about "look yourself in a mirror and say Karma". Twat.
Does anyone remember the Sound Asleep Club who had a regular slot on this show? It was Mike Myers and some English comedian (Neil someone?) in dressinggowns yawning a lot.
If Gordon Brown doesn't bring back Wacaday IMMEDIATLEY i'm leaving the country (oh wait, too late). Yeah, that's the reason I left Gordy! You can stick your poll tax up your arris (hang on, that was Thatcher... damn!). At least the Thatch was pro-Wacaday not like this scabby government.
intended ;-) btw i also blame El Gordo for the current X-Factor FIASCO with Scott and Austin being voted off instead of Ricky Gervais and that horrible little Irish turd! Ol' wonky eye should be tarred and feathered imo.
Well since its offical bussines, I think we're better off ringing London and asking Boris. Though, seeing as its after 5pm now we might just get the answer phone.
I remember once going to school, but Wacaday was on TV! F@@cking East Herts council having a different schedule for school holidays than everyone else!
@GreenArrowM after listening to this countless times (because it's catchy. And im sad as hell) I think it goes... 'Forget the post, put down your toast'
Happy days. Children's tv is practically non existent on terrestrial TV now and what there is consits of American imports and CGI. Televison seemed much less cynical in those days.
me too, it makes me so sad, i miss being young, im 25 now, i used to watch this with my sister whilt sat on the floor eating ricicles for breakfast, and my dad used to come and kiss us before he went to work :( ooh little tear just gone down my cheek honest :) its good to remember.
fab!!! i used to always play this with my older brothers-obviously they use to hit me over the head 20 times harder that what they was suposed to...lol
I miss wacaday it was a show that I used to enjoy watching on school holidays I always used to remember a feature called Splish,Splosh I want to paint a picture!

Neil Mullarkey. I do remember the SAC but wasn't aware that it was Myers till years later. Neil was in the first Austin Powers film.

The theme tune reminds me of summer holidays when I was about 10 years old. I'd give up my long lies to be up before 8.00am in time for Wacaday lol

Sung by timmy mallett on helium or a slightly older pinky and perky

That theme was about eight years old when used here.

Timmy Mallett = GOD. Enough said. Half-terms and holidays were so much better knowing you could start the day by watching this.
I'm even prepared to look past the Bombalurina stuff. Mallett's Mallet et al. Classic entertainment!!!!
