  • I was a wideawaker as a kid, getting up early every Saturday morning just to watch this

  • 2 people R boring spoilsports!

  • bring back Timmy!!!

  • I can't quite believe that ITV paid for that cunt to travel the globe as a cock. The shot of him "malleting" that camel (being lead by a reserved and humble guide) in front of the pyramids of Egypt, one of the last remaining wonders of world, surely befits his meteoric fall from fame just a few years later. Never mind "look at each other and say Bleurgh" what about "look yourself in a mirror and say Karma". Twat.

  • BLUURGH!!

  • lol, class

  • wacaday no school today!

  • @killer600000 As annoying as that theme was, it would be really exciting to here and put you in a great mood hehe

  • Lol! I loved wacaday

  • When kids were kids!!!! back the old days sigh!!! Miss them so much!

  • is he shagging an ostrich at 0:11?

  • loool i remember this !!!! lool awww i was like 3 years old omg lool awww

  • Oh no what a cheesy ,annoying and naff theme tune.

  • Camel abuse !!

  • Timmy Mallet is so annoying.

  • awesome

  • now its wac a paki lol

  • whatever is going on in that opening sequence?

  • Does anyone remember the Sound Asleep Club who had a regular slot on this show? It was Mike Myers and some English comedian (Neil someone?) in dressinggowns yawning a lot.

  • Neil Mullarkey. I do remember the SAC but wasn't aware that it was Myers till years later. Neil was in the first Austin Powers film.

  • i remember all the words, i used to love this programme

  • ive just had loads of flashbacks watching this...maybe i had supressed memories of timmy mallet...

  • supressed like child abuse...

  • Ah those were the days. Me n sis glued to the sofa, thumbs in gob. My sis is 31 now and still sucks her thumb haha.

  • OMG! i remember all the words! they are burned onto my brain!!!!!

  • Are you going on Sunday?

  • Me too! I was a Wacaday child! I loved it! Bleurgh!

  • Brilliant! Fantastic days

  • Such good times...

  • If Gordon Brown doesn't bring back Wacaday IMMEDIATLEY i'm leaving the country (oh wait, too late). Yeah, that's the reason I left Gordy! You can stick your poll tax up your arris (hang on, that was Thatcher... damn!). At least the Thatch was pro-Wacaday not like this scabby government.

  • I don't know if you intended for your comment to have that effect but I can't stop laughing at what you said! So true lol

  • intended ;-) btw i also blame El Gordo for the current X-Factor FIASCO with Scott and Austin being voted off instead of Ricky Gervais and that horrible little Irish turd! Ol' wonky eye should be tarred and feathered imo.

  • I won't ever block you, I want to ask you out.

  • You what?

  • I said that I wont ever block you from my channel even though you have blocked me.

  • Maybe Boris would bring back Wacaday!

  • let me call him... do you have his number or should i just call London and ask for Boris?

  • Well since its offical bussines, I think we're better off ringing London and asking Boris. Though, seeing as its after 5pm now we might just get the answer phone.

  • should i email him?

  • Better times.

  • I remember once going to school, but Wacaday was on TV! F@@cking East Herts council having a different schedule for school holidays than everyone else!

  • Bleurgh! I watched it too religiously! I was a wacaday fanatic!

  • We're wide awake

Its good to know you're ready and you're wide awake So on you're marks and get set go,

Its Wacaday no school today here's what you've got to do,

Forget the post and stay in bed, see what we've got for you,

    Oh, Wacaday! Whats that?

    Wait and see...Who's on?

Find out, stay tuned, okay, lets go

    [instrumental]

    It's Wacaday

  • @GreenArrowM after listening to this countless times (because it's catchy. And im sad as hell) I think it goes... 'Forget the post, put down your toast'

  • @GreenArrowM i think some r wrong lyrics uve put up

  • @nliver WAW left my comment from 3yrs ago and still people keep replying 2 :O (lol)

  • The theme tune reminds me of summer holidays when I was about 10 years old. I'd give up my long lies to be up before 8.00am in time for Wacaday lol

  • Sung by timmy mallett on helium or a slightly older pinky and perky

  • That theme was about eight years old when used here.

  • Sorry i was being facetious

  • Happy memories of watching Wacaday with my little girl...think I liked it more than she did in the end!Wacawave!

  • Happy days. Children's tv is practically non existent on terrestrial TV now and what there is consits of American imports and CGI. Televison seemed much less cynical in those days.

  • is this the greatest kids theme of all time? quite possibly.

  • OMG!! That takes me back :)

Those were the days *sigh* Where did they go?

  • U just dont see shows like this any more. And speaking of Mr Mallett i wonder where he is 2day.

  • oh takes me back lol

    pinky punky oh yeaaaa

  • Timmy Mallett = GOD. Enough said. Half-terms and holidays were so much better knowing you could start the day by watching this.

I'm even prepared to look past the Bombalurina stuff. Mallett's Mallet et al. Classic entertainment!!!!

  • i'm so emotional watching this, i want to cry. Why did i have to age.

  • me too, it makes me so sad, i miss being young, im 25 now, i used to watch this with my sister whilt sat on the floor eating ricicles for breakfast, and my dad used to come and kiss us before he went to work :( ooh little tear just gone down my cheek honest :) its good to remember.

  • fab!!! i used to always play this with my older brothers-obviously they use to hit me over the head 20 times harder that what they was suposed to...lol

  • THE TUNE GOD IT TAKES ME RIGHT BACK!!!. Soo many fond memories of this show. Never missed it durin holidays. BRING IT BACK!!!!

  • look at each other and go blurgh. Im sure timmy mallet was on drugs, but I used to watch this religously. I loved it

  • I miss wacaday it was a show that I used to enjoy watching on school holidays I always used to remember a feature called Splish,Splosh I want to paint a picture!
