do you even know anything about voice? Hawkins is merely a karaoke singer.... she imitates other people's performances...she does this well, and she usually imitates good people, BUT Ms. Weiss makes each performance unique...sounding very much like herself... adding her own interpretation. Also, vocally speaking, her tone is much more freely produced. Her voice is crystal clear, well supported, and she uses plenty of space and resonance to make it all sound easy... not strained or pushed.

But Hawkins is also a sophomore in college, and she is still about 10 or so years from her voice being completly mature. Where as Natalie has had years and years of training and is near vocal maturity. I agree with you, Hawkins needs to mature in her voice, but they are both really good.

Anthony Rapp did a master class at my theatre, and a girl sang this song, and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with it, perfect. IT WAS AMAZING, and she interpreted it differently and made it more dramatic.
