  • Dave Pirner is a dead ringer for Meg Ryan!!! I think Dave may be prettier these days!!!

  • haha dave looks just like kurt

  • "MASH" and "All in the Family"

    "The Munsters" and "Mayberry R. F. D."

    I will always be busy

    Watching my TV

    Oprah Winfrey talks to me

    Every day at three

    Then soon it'll be

    "Wheel" and "Jeopardy"

  • mondays nothing. with a smile anyway

  • funny dont you think any band that speaks any truth is no longer around

  • love the 90s they has a tiny window to say there bit but it was close ever since

  • i can't believe i was 1 when this was released! I feel old....but i ain't! This song is so brilliant, it wrapped clerks 2 better than any song could!

  • i wish i was living at the 90's.

  • Beautiful song.

  • this song is misery

  • frustrated incorporated....fucking brilliant.

  • I must be retarded.... :/ I don't like this band one bit.

  • 25 people must be in misery

  • 25 people thought that the thumbs down would be cool because its misery. Yes.

  • I'm just here cause I wanted to hear the original version that Weird Al based his Syndicated Inc. song off of lol :D

    trollin!

  • 24 people need to be put out of their misery

  • No, I don't care about your damn whale movie! Show me Soul Asylum already! Oh wait, there's a skip button...

Done raving and ranting then. Oh, and Soul Asylum is awesome, if somewhat depressing.

  • This band is sooo fuckin' awesome and cool, it must be frustrating for 24 people and certain, huge, corporations... just sayin'.

  • @SomeYTchannel whats my iq got to do with you being a fagg?

  • @travis8683 Bloody amen.

  • ARGH! I just watched Clerks 2 for the first time and heard this song at the end and I had totally forgotten about this song altogether....and then it all came back to me. I love when that happens; like hearing it for the first time. Can't believe it was 1995 when it came out; I was 13 or 14 at the time, those were great days with the best of music :)

  • @TheSkyhorse82 Me too...saw Clerks 2 for the first time as well. And as you I heard the song too in the end of the movie. Love the song. Maybe it's just me but music was just better at that time. Think of music from Live, Dishwalla, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Foo Fighters, Gin Blossoms and I could go on. Music was just better in the 90s...miss the days, miss the music.

  • @DKRaven78 Sorry dudes but I beg to differ cause compared to the music in the ENTIRE DECADE of the 80's from TOP 2 BOTTOM and all across the board just kicked the music of the 90's ass..Maybe you were just too young to experience it but those days were great in the 80's!!Don't get get me wrong cause the 90's did produce a handful of decent songs like this one,but most of them came from '90-'94 and mostly from the 80's hair bands..before the crappy Nirvana/grunge music era

  • @Carolinacountryboy33

80s was indeed better than the 90s, but not bc of hair metal but rather in spite of it. Let's get real, hair metal is some of the cheapest music on the planet. I still kick it to Def Leppard, but back when they were brit metal (hi n dry and pyro) and before the hair metal pop crap. Grunge was mostly bad, but Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana had some decent tunes, but yes, way overhyped especially Cobain. Now Soul Asylum? Kick ass band with real roots rock

  • @lalamango1 shut your vagina lalamango and listen to the damn music. 90's music still kicks the shit outta tweeny angst ghetto rap.

  • @TheSkyhorse82 Same here! Watched Clerks2 and I had forgotten this great song. This feeling , the nostalgy! wow!

  • Doesn't the solo sound like it is too happy for this song?

  • I guess they missed the point of the song all those years ago.

  • miss this music so much

  • I'm glad to see this song again after 15 years.

  • yessssss

  • i dont turn on the radio i come to you tube where its what ever year i want it to be

  • @jeremywells1977 couldnt have said it better my self bro.

  • @jeremywells1977 long live the 90's

  • @jeremywells1977 Fucking Epic quote m8 :D

  • LOL @ 2:28

  • @jlundh20

    They still make music today?

  • Fuck Soul Asylum... This song totally talks shit about Nirvana... Suicide Kings and Drama Queens... Hella catchy though... Too bad Soul Asylum sucks as a whole and they rode on the coattails of Nirvana's success.

  • @jlundh20 respect to nirvana but to cobain sorry ... denied. nirvana died yet people still praise and lick on kurt's nuts because he blew his talentless, overrated head off. he pussied out and took the short road leaving the people who cared without him. it's atrocious to see him be put in the same group as elvis, lennon, marley, hendrix, joplin, and others as a legend. soul asylum might not have been as mainstream, but to be around 6 yrs before nirvana and 17 years after is a greater achievment

  • @ksjunkie1 ok man, I know you might be angry by the sings he said, I like both soul asylum and nirvana, but obviously kurt wasn't talentless, that's an ignorant way of thinking dude. And what if he killed himself? That doesn't mean he's a coward.. have you ever been reeeeally depressed ? not because of a job, a girlfriend or anything, I mean depression. I've been 3 months in there and it's not something you can just say "Ok, I'll move on no matter what". Just listen to the song without comparing

  • @18Leashh ive lived with depression along time and have tried to kill myself and 2 of my friends have. since then ive moved on too but that doesn't mean my friends are here and ive seen what happened to me and their families. it takes a tole and at times i still feel that way but through my eyes and what i have seen it is the coward way out. now i know my experience is not like everyone else's and thats why its my opinion and should be taken with a grain of salt.

  • @ksjunkie1 Glad to have you here! :-)

  • @jlundh20 nope, I don't think this song talks about nirvana, it talks about being depressed, frustration, misery in an ironic way. "We could start a company, and make misery, frustrated incorporated" I think it's pretty clear

  • @jlundh20 you are a child.

  • @jlundh20 Pity your dick kept flopping all over the keyboard instead of writing something intelligent.

  • clerks 2 brought me here.

    Thanks of all you!

  • Anyone who has anything about the present tense to say about this band should know that this is their 11th or 12th album. They are "unsung" heros. No pun intended. Just talent and a great dislike for conforming to the mainstream music trend. Who cares if they are a top band they are still awesome!

  • @blondewithredtransam i agree.... most fans of them do not even know they have 12 albums.

  • 5million dollars richer n we can't get our picture on the cover of the rolling stone

  • wow................................... these guys do not know anything about singing songs that don;t have anything to do about people getting kidnapped

  • you prob are a tad older than me...im 28. I graduated HS in 02. So I "grew up" in the mid late 90s. But have a strong connection to early 90s/late 80s. You are right about living in the "now",,,its just so depressing. we have everything we want but lack what we need...if that makes sense. Its just people today and the way things are: cant sit on Santas lap...people think hes a perv. cant trick or treat because "EVERYONE" is going to poison us...people are too on edge and scared, that=depressing

  • i bought a Member's Only jacket last year. Kick ass!!!

  • they should re-release this song only replace the cds with ipods/mp3 players.. :)

  • I had "tape" in my stereo all through the 90"s.....in my 90' Z24...wow that thing was fast! :)

  • Fucking awesome song!

  • great band. clerks 2 rules. i don't want to get out of this time machine!!!

  • i'm teen again

  • ;)

  • This song has 1,090,776 views with only 20 dislikes. Awesome.

  • This is great!

  • 2:44 Dock knockout

  • im so damn sick of this decade!!!!! (2009-present) I say we burn all our calendars, smash the PC, break out the beepers and 1 pound cell phones...dust off George Bush Senior and begin at 1990! Time is just a concept

  • @travis8683 Along with getting rid of the internet...

  • @Chazwozel1 yes. it is cool for some stuff (movies, music,) but we are TOO dependent on it. Where is Alladin's Castle Arcade? The only thing Malls today have as a vestage of the 80s/90s are Spencer Gifts. When Spencer's goes.......its all over. I hate this decade.

  • @travis8683 buddy, I grew up as a kid in the 80s and a teenager in the 90's, they both had their shitty points just like this decade. You're looking at the past with rose-tinted goggles. It's called nostalgia. Live in the present and your life will be much happier.

  • @travis8683 those huge phones are really cancerous. but then again, everything is nowadays....

  • @TasteForDisaster

everything always has been they just actually tell you it is now.

  • @travis8683 I agree but we should live for today, the past only exist in human minds like a G6

  • hate vevo, love the 90's fuck corrupt music industry trash

  • love the 90's....

  • so depressing when this plays in clerks 2...

    :/

  • Clerks 2. <3 "It's inter-species erotica!!!"

  • things have to get really bad before they can get better obviously lol

  • F* U Vevo!!!

  • 20 losers were born in tha same year as Bieber...

  • Well as far as "good music" the way I see it is - good music is good music. Period. If I had to genre-tize the music I prefer, it would be "classic rock," even though I literally HATE that term. I just use it in lieu of a better term.

I grew ip in the late 60's, early 70's Back when "Music was Music!" ha hah hah... good music has been made every year since we started banging on logs. (no, I was NOT there!)

Every decade has their grand funk, beatles, dylan, frampton, alice in chains, etc.

  • @HorizonEarth2112 well said to the above.....dude, i could not agree with you more. Have always said myself that good music is good music no matter what "genre' it falls into. I personally hate the 'Over-genre-izing" that has happened over the years. If i like it i'm gonna listen to it, same as opinions. Who is to say what is good..might not be good to you or the next person....but someone is gonna like it.

  • 19 people.. Just don't know good music. :) ~Pct3ch~

  • This band named themselves after the song by the Cult right? The Cult had this grunge song called "Soul Asylum" in the '80s years before this band got popular.

  • 18 people don't like to go to the Quick Stop.

  • any body ever notice the lead singer of soul asylum has a stricking resmblance to the late curt cobain. :)

  • @SpiritDancer1977 soul asylum started up before nirvana, it would have to be the other way around....

  • @SoftSailz yeah True that ...Kurt was only a little tennie booper when Soul Asylum formed --- 1981

  • Frustrated Inc... working there right now.

  • 18 people have no taste in music.

  • i love how at the end of clerks 2 they played this and showed the milk maid

  • This song makes me want to jizz in my own eye and eat that one gorillas barf who barfs in his hand then eats it. I still have the CD from when I was like 13

  • is kurt cobain.jajaja

  • es kurt cobain.jajaja

  • I loved this album when it came out, where the hell is Soul Asylum today? Tour or another album.....hello

  • Now I know how the CD's are made...

  • god damn stupid add's ruining the mood

  • Who the hell is that guy in the corner with the white rimmed glasses and the reefer fro?

  • I loved this at the end of Clerks 2. My favorite movie. Kevin Smith is my Idol hes amazing. So isnt Soul Asylum. There amazing I love there music. One of my favs.of all time

  • Much better, and much more intelligent version of this song is Syndicated Inc. by Weird Al Yankovic!!! :D

  • awesome song

  • Ass to mouth my balls

  • You never go ass to mouth

  • What a nice change from the usual love songs.

  • LOVE this song

  • frustrated incorporated.......fucking rad.

  • This song is corny as hell. Weird Al's version is way better.

  • @droid101

Its better than his crap, No wonder todays music is deranged! With all this Justin Beiber junk its unreal!

  • @droid101 what version did Weird al make?

  • @Deepsr It was a song called Syndicated Incorporated. Another of his TV songs. It is pretty good, but I love the original too. I was a big Soul Asylum fan and a Weird Al fan at the time so I was really excited.

  • @droid101 why do you say that?

  • @Obamasucks2011

Are you serious? This is the corniest song I've ever heard.

  • 90s FTW

  • cool(-_-)

  • Clerks 2 rocked! Kevin Smith is a film God!

  • Comment removed

  • Great song - one of their all time bests!!! Funny concept, good laughs, thoughtful lyrics & message, killer punk-like riffs and tunes, and lots of memories!!!!!!!

  • snootch to the motha fucken bootch.

  • 90's where some great times, rock kicked ass, cartoons were great, hell even rap was good

  • I was 22 back when this was new! I love "Runaway Train". I was definitely "DOIN" something that was worth remembering then!!

  • 90's great times, I'm nostalgic rigthnow, I waana live it again!!

  • Great song

Fuck I miss the 90's when music was real

  • @tjfats2 exactly, now this dubstep shit that is out is disrespectful. I listened to it once, it made me think I was caught inside a broken transformer with a dial up internet connection

  • @djr3689 Autotune will be the death of the music industry

That and the fact that illegal downloading has already pretty much killed it

I mean seriously who the hell still buys music these days? I admit I don't.

Why pay $14-$16 for a CD when I can get it free...

  • @tjfats2 bullshit. for every 20 "groups" who autotune, there is at least 1 real band. autotune is the death of pop. punk will always thrive...don't believe me, ask Midnight Saints. it's not about CD sales, it's about DIY ethics. i'm willing to bet the Merch guy for Blink-182 will tell you shirts go faster than CDs. btw, i'm at Newbury Comics almost every week buying at least 1 CD.

  • @tjfats2 and i sure as hell will never buy a CD over $10. get that shit used. and lets not forget the comp. section. $3 for a 2 CD Comp. with over 50 songs on it. i'll get the newest Blink CD in about 7-10 months when the value decreases, and i can get it for $5-$8.

  • Comment removed

  • @tjfats2 that's not the point. in fact, you missed the point by about 500 miles. the point is that there are bands that make music like the 90's, and some bands are even better than most 90's music. your too thick to understand that...and your too lazy to fucking find it. your just another person who looks at the Rolling Stone top 100, see's nothing you like, and says "don't make like they used to" STFU and GTFO

  • @tazmon122 lmfao I don't look at Rolling Stone

I listen to what I like and don't care if others don't like it

In fact I listen to mostly heavy metal, black metal and death metal (LOTS of obscure bands ppl haven't heard of) but I grew up in the 90s and appreciated the music. There really aren't that many good bands outside of rock or metal. Even rap has gotten worse in the past few years. All these "talent" shows - American Idol, XFactor, etc. are only contributing to the problem

  • @tjfats2 so much of Metal is the same. got a double bass drum, some guy eating a mic, and 2 nitwits throwing their hair around while playing notes in drop C tuning. you play me Whitechapel, it will sound like Nile, or Suicide Silence to me. just because good rap isn't number 1, doesn't mean good rap isn't being made. Grieves with Budo, and MC Frontalot are just examples. anyway, you prove my point. STFU, because there is real good shit going on outside your home.

  • here's a split second of brilliance but a universal truth>>you get what you focus on

    ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS

  • @tjfats2 Oh God. Extreme metal elitist. You give the fans a bad name. I agree with the substance of your comment, but the tone you took when talking about all of "obscure bands ppl haven't heard of" just screams of the self-righteous narcissism that is so ludicrously prevalent in the modern metal scene. Please don't be that guy.

  • @tjfats2 greatest post on youtube! Couldnt agree more I feel bad for poeple who live in a music box.

  • @jnh56 Thank you

    Finally someone who gets it

    :-)

  • @tjfats2 oh you bastard, you just made fun of my favorite band, daughtry because you said american idol is contributing to the problem. daughtry is a very good alternative rock band, they really put feeling into their songs. listen to daughtry - renegade or drown in you and then tell me american idol is bad!

  • @Stargate674 Daughtry is ok but how many legitimate singers have come out of American Idol? I mean it's been on what like 10 years already and Kelly Clarkson and Daughtry and maybe a few others. Maybe the problem is that there aren't enough people into rock music these days. Idk

  • @tjfats2 Try looking harder instead of just turning on the radio dipshit

  • fuck vevo

  • Thanks for sharing this superb video!!Watching this video always reminds me of when I worked for the Universal Music record label,a job I loved and missed when they closed the plant in 2005.Ahhhh memories!!

  • Weird Al brought me here

  • omg, he looks just like Axl Rose

  • Mi dios, Kurt Cobain sigue vivo

  • These guys came from grunge in the 90´s and those times were completely different from today... we knew what was coming our way for the present times...
