I would be made at Beyonce too. When most people cover a song it revives the originator's career or interest in the original song. In paying homage to legend, Beyonce being such an amazing singer made the song her own so does not sound like she is just copying Etta, which you would expect from a tribute cover. Obama and Beyonce could have asked to Etta sing a duet but she was such a tough cookie I doubt that she would want to.

Beyonce was beautiful and very talented at Obama's inaugural.
I really got chicken skin when listening to her then.
Sadly, the stuff she brings right now (sixties imitation) as well as the 'music' with Lady Gaga looks so disappointing to me knowing her fabulous capacities of singing songs like 'At Last'.
Please Beyoncé start over with your nice romantic and powerful songs.

@jasonx1106 I agree with you. This woman was so harsh. Beyonce even thanked her during one of her perfomances of at last saying that if it wasn't for her they wouldn't have artists like beyonce today. Etta was just jealous.. They asked b to perform not Etta it's not bs fault.
