Being a huge Sci-Fi fan I had to watch this series. And I really loved it. Too bad it got only 2 seasons. Vincent Ventresca, Paul Ben-Victor and Shannon Kenny were awesome. I hate when they cancel great series. In the 90's they cancelled great Sci-Fi series TekWar, RoboCop The Series, Spy Game, Mann & the Machine, MANTIS, Dark Skies, SeaQuest, Total Recall 2070. In 2000s they did the same with The 4400, Jake 2.0, Invasion, Level 9, Firefly, Blade the Series etc
The episode with the purple paint is "Money for Nothing" part 2, season 1. This video makes me smile every time I watch it. Great song choice!! (Sorry if this was already posted- my computer is being weird)

The song is actually about how the person composed this song, he was thinking in what style it would be(Jazz,rock-n-roll,Beatles,U2...), and while he was doing it, his heart sang*.
