Mira pendejin, para que me entiendas y te explico, porque se nota que nunca has abierto un libro de historia, Vicente Guerrero era de ascendencia mulata, los mulatos eran la mezcla de europeo y africano, así como los mestizos eran la mezcla de europeo e indígena y muchos vivían en Veracruz y Guerrero (tierra natal de Vicente Guerrero, que nació en Tixtla). Así que mejor estudia, prepárate, lee, que todavía estas muy verde en la historia de México.

thank you! my family is afro-latino from mexico and it blows my mind how amazed people are in the states. slaves were brought everywhere. and black people are everywhere. btw when people refer to west Afrika, i believe they are referring to the ancestral roots, not directly. i.e. most people of Afrikan descent in the western hemisphere are descendants of slaves from the western coast of Afrika.

I have seen some people with black features myself. There is some people with black ancestry in mexico but they are way less common than in other countries on this continent. On the other hand, I agree that the idea of african-cultural-aportation-to-the-mexican-culture is recent and is being promoted by bigots from other countries like Glyn Jemmot.

I wouldn't say that Jamaica is wholly West African. Is predominantly African/Afro-European with a large Afro/Chinese-Afro/East Indian minority too. I would say Haiti is the most African nation in the Caribbean.

There are variations of people. They say there are 3 races. Black, White, Chinese.
I remember learning it like that when I was young. In reality you have many groups and subgroups. When they do studies on genetics they classify so many different groups. Black is only the shade of your skin. He is Tamil so he is black or he is dark skinned aborignal so he is black. It is not very descriptive.

Kenyans are different than West Africans.
Most of the slaves in the Americas are from Nigeria and Ghana. I don't want to explain everything by sports but the Kenyans dominate the long distance races.Jamaican Nigerians they do well in the sprints.

Ask Africans that. I live in a place where I know alot of Somalians, Kenyans, Ethiopians, South Africans and people from Nigeria and Ghana. It is really one human race but there are variations.
I never called Africans Slaves. Just trying to note the differences between African Americans and Kenyans of Ethiopians.
Alot of the Somalians don't even consider themselves black. The pyramid stuff has nothing to do with the argument.

I'm an African, knows these problems very well. Mixed Race is not Original; they normally decide which Race to belong. Lots of "Blacks" in Africa, USA, Brazil, etc consider themself as Arabs, European, etc; that's fine. But original African "typical Nigroid" was not mixed and ruled the world.
1. The Sphinx in Egypt, "typical Nigroid in all it features". Lots of Blacks refused to accept Nigroid features because they believe its inferior but those types ruled the world. See the Sphinx yourself.

Crime is crime. There may be some differences between cartels and gangs. But they are essentialy the same thing and they are nuissances to their neighborhoods and countries. Only a fool wastes time talking about petty differences. Cartels and political corruption are possibly the biggest problem with Mexico today. Does it matter how they differ from gangs?

Unity is only perceived. Unity is not achieved by not allowing people to choose race on a census. It is achieved by respecting the poor, Indians, Blacks, and Mestizos. At least here in the U.S. we know and don't pretend like racial equality exists. Latin America uses the myth of racial equality to quiet the marginalized. And race is used all the time, that too is a myth.
