I'm learning how to dance Dabke here in Canada (at lebanese clubs on occasion) .... trouble is...I'm Canadian and toooo shy to ask for help lol....so I watch youtube videos to help me learn.... if anyone here would be so kind as to offer me some instruction or tips I would greatly appreciate it so so so much!!! Go to dance clubs and get behind the line to learn. That is the polite way until you learn better! That is what I did! I am a grandmother, still dancing!

I'm getting better, feeling less silly hehe. I'm in Ontario :S I went to a club called "Amartain" last week, it's great!! I knew the dance better then some libian guys that were there. they followed me!! I'll keep practicing for sure. I'm having fun, that's the most important part!!! I always love hearing from anyone who could help me though, it's not in my blood so I need to focus to learn more. xx

I know, that's why they were watching me for what to do. haha, it was priceless. I stand out at those clubs as "the tall Canadian girl" and I'm ok with that. it's the Lebanese girls that are helping me a bit by watching what they do. As I said in an earlier comment I'm super shy so it's not always easy for me to ask for the help.
