  • In my mind, Wade IS the emcee of Cabaret, everyone else i've ever seen merely plays it. I totally agree w/ you, he was stupendous at GEVA. In clips I've seen of the Portland show, you can see a shyness due to the role being new to him....by Rochester, WHOA, he was so composed. He wore it like that leather overcoat.

  • I agree completely, Wade was STUPENDOUS as the Emcee in Cabaret at GEVA. He is to that roll what Jeremy Brett became to Sherlock Holmes. They become the character, everyone else merely plays it.
