Guitar Idol didn't actually break their promise. Satriani's management pulled out 4 days before the final, so Gustavo opened for Yngwie Malmsteen on the Saturday instead

yea I was right by the Ibanez stuff and got to meet him the dudeds short and hairy but can play like no other I got the picture he signed and the pick in a case

I was there and considering it was a "dayime " gig ! ( it started just after noon ) it rocked! Satch was ripping it up still with the band ! well good stuff !
