okayyy i tried this...today actually.

my hair is like, really thick, and kinda coarse..

and this worked. for a while.

it stayed for a good 4 hours and then it slowly started gettingstraight and then it just looked like i had oily hair. :|

yeah thanks for the tips unfortunately didn't work so great on my hair, looking at urs mine is v.v.fine in comparison, as soon as its wet the moment i move it it knots and i mean really knots like rats nest knots. but anyways i tried it out and it worked ok i guess it was just really really knotty and after a while it did begin to go straight again...-_- its v. humid where i live so that might have something to do with it...but thanks anyways..soz have to go onto 2 posts...

I'd say we have the same hair, it appears thick but it's just a lot of hair, you know? And no bangs either but mine's down to my waist -- so keep growing it! I have a similar routine but use jaw clips instead & alot of them, medium, large & small, depending on how I want my hair to look. I'll try the bands next time, the drying time is much faster. There is a easier way to curl your hair

First u need wet hair brush it through so there are no knots u then put any conditioner in your hair (you can skip this step) I them put

shockwaves twirl it mousse u can also use shockwaves strong control styling gel. You then scrunch ur hair like Blair did after that I then put my hair in a low pony tail nd sleep with it wet. In the morning take your hair out of the pony tail and dont brush it your hair should be reli curly and have lots of body in it if you scrunch your hair a lot at the top as well.
