We take our cat outside on a halter and a long leash (trained since he was a kitten) declawed, as well and one day recently he decided to climb up the large maple tree in our yard! Wow was I surprised! He jumps and climbs on things around the house with NO problem, but that was the first time i'd ever witnessed a declawed cat climbing something of that scale!

@CaffeinatedWench I love seeing cats on leashes! It's so funny to see. My parents' cats love going outside on leashes too, but my Cronos is a bit more timid and we don't have as much opportunity where we live right now. I hope we can take him out more when we move.

Being declawed has definitely not slowed him down at all. I'm glad your cat is the same way!
