im getting braces in a month and a bit and i'm really really scared btw im 13 i have 2 questions 1) do they hurt when they r being put on and how long does it take because wont that be really hard to keep your mouth open for bout 45 mins or 1 hour or something???? 2) is there anything i shud do to prepare myself for braces like a week b4 or on the day or something i dont know ????? plzz plzz plzz answer wud really appreciate it if u do!!! :D thnx great vid
@mona5471 HI! ok so just breathe, putting on the braces isnt very painful, it just feels like they are putting pressure on your teeth . It takes about an hour or so to put them on so they do put a rubber stopper (i think that what they are called) to keep your mouth open during the process so your not uncomfortable. there isnt anything in particular to prepare yourself for, maybe take a Tylenol before your appt. so it doesnt hurt later

@EeveeGirl0001 I believe they have every basic color you can think of.. I just chose to get some that weren't as noticeable.. but i know they haves greens and pinks and purples.. orthos generally have a lot!
@JAYTORRES1000 if your getting braces for crowding, they probably will have to take it out, but i recommend asking your ortho about it, because if he chooses not to, itll save you a lot of time of recovery from surgery and stuff.
