This is fucked up in sooooo many ways!!!!!!! I feel soooooo bad for Matrice......... She was so vulnerable and alone that last night of her life...... OMG! If someone hurt and killed her, they WILL pay for it! Only Matrice knows what really happen and unfortunately, she took it to her grave....... However there will be justice! If not here on earth, in the after life...... I'm so sorry Matrice........
@GeorgiaPeach87 I agree. I firmly believe Mitrice never walked that long route. Her body was recovered approx. 2 miles away from the Sheriff's station. The man that allegedly spotted her on his property is a liar.
wow that would be a long way on foot to walk back to where the guy said she was on his porch. It's frustrating to know that something does not seem right but nobody involved wants to speak up. how could she walk from the police station headed back towards the initial place, and end up somewhere else. She would have been too tired to do all that. I think somebody picked her up possibly thinking she was a prostitute and they were the culprits. The sheriffs dept needs to admit and be accountable.
@icthruu4evr Why the fuck are you correlating attraction to abuse. Rape is about power and control, not attraction. Look up William Kennedy Smith to see what I mean.
I have a question,I don't know much about california but is it possible that she may have used a pay phone to call someone that night because i saw a couple of restaurants at the beginning of the video, not sure what time mc donalds close there but maybe she used a pay phone to call someone collect and maybe there is a record of someone placing a call that night and time...I truly don't believe she made it that far without a vehicle. I have followed this case from the beginning and was praying
There is NO WAY she walked from that distance in the dark @ 1:15AM!!..From what I understand she was terrified of the dark..The cops are bullshitting and lying about what really happened. I believe that some psycopath(s) within the sheriffs dept killed her..THERE! I SAID IT!!
After doing the drive, do you think she cut through the hills or actually walked the roads? If she walked the roads from 1am to 5am it seems like there would have been more reports of her being seen.
I DON'T BELIEVE MITRICE MADE IT TO SOMEONE PORCH ANOTHER COVER-UP LIE. WHO THE HELL DO THEY THINK THERE ARE FOOLING??? EVEN STEVIE WONDER CAN SEE FOUL PLAY. This Black young woman was looking like a high school drop-out, so her life isn't important enough to protect, so send the negro out in the dark to be raped and killed...who will miss her...she probably doesn't have a family.... you know how these Negros make babies and leave them. Lord, help this wicked world.
@truthfreejesus3 The government here in America will lie and put things into your head so that you can see they did no wrong, they will hide things so they could keep their good image as good people. LMFAO! racist assholes. I'm sick of this shit they know what happened to her they just wanna leave another case without an answer.
This makes me cry:(( I can't imagine going thru that rural area all alone like that.. Some idiots on the internet, are blaming the family all ready!!! This makes me even angrier...Saying"Ow don't blame the police!!" She should have paid her bill and she wouldn't be in this state or dead!" The police did their job"... I'm just quoting what idiots are saying...This makes me hate the police more..I don't trust them now...And idiots who have no compassion for this woman...FUCK OFF!!!..R.I.P Mitrice
So they believe they found her remains. Would you happen to know how far off from her last scene location was her body found? Was it closer to that area that she was last scene? ( The house and the horse riding area?) This is such sad news. I still believe a policeman followed her and killed her.
@ENGNETWORK you're right someone in that office knows what happened, i say they check all phone calls, cell phones and all.Monitor who left and for how long.
if what the resturaunt patrons said was true about her acting mentally ill, then the police would be saying the same thing. and if the police are saying that she acted like she was mentally unstable then a psych evaluation would have to be done. they don't just let people who mentally unsound go. someone or a couple or a group of someones are behind her dissappearance. the truth will come out.
if what the resturaunt patrons said was true about her acting mentally ill, then the police would be saying the same thing. and if the police are saying that she acted like she was mentally unstable then a psych evaluation would have to be done. they don't just let people who mentally unsound go. someone or a couple or a group of someones are behind her dissappearance. the truth will come out.
@u8x7251 The mental illness is for the people out there who believe that the PD could do no wrong but once again this is not about who killed or not this is about how the PD were the cause of her death and yet they take 1/4 of the blame. who knows how many "Black People" they have released at that time. The ignorant reason of her death is that she had illness and she wondered off lots of miles by herself and ended up in a canon and died from natural causes thats what they want you to believe.
-I find it hard to believe she traveled that distance in the am morning hours alone.
-If she was picked up for being " strang behavior"." appearing to be not all there. What happened at the police station that turned the tables in such short time? ( They released her.)
-Was she dining alone?
-What is this video her mother is saying the police will not reveal?
Here's what I think happened. Just from trying to put the story together over the months. I think a cop released her, but followed her out. ( With bad intentions.) I believe the/ those cops knew she was not in the right frame of mind. They took advantage of this by offering her ride back to her car. Once she was in a dark area, out of plain view, they rapped her..let her go again. She continued to walk...the cops followed close behind.
After the caller spotted her and called the cops. Someone heard it on the radio, had to turn back around to get her before someone not involved with the situation got to her. This explains to me how she just vanished from the trail. ( The back porch so fast.) The long wait before cops even showed up. They were covering their tracks.
A man called in and said a tall, thin, black woman with an afro was resting on his back porch, he yelled are you alright she yelled back I am just resting and was gone within 5 minutes. why didn't the police come and investigate that. They knew the mother was calling.
how did she walk this distance in the dark the path dont feel rite i know someone had to see her r drive her to this point aint no way possible who ever covering this up i pray for there soul
Mitrice did not know the area AT ALL and was having a mental crisis. So she was just wandering or trying to find her way back down hill. It is also possible someone picked her up and perhaps abused her. She had no other clothes than her T-shirt and jeans. Meanwhile her mother was constantly calling the Sheriffs to see when she could pick her up and they gave her vague replies.
That's a damn shame, bare minimum, if they(police) did release her, look how far she had to walk, that is just cruel. Hopefully the family will have a case, and sue the shit outta the police department, so that way they will pay attention. That seems to be the only way to get their attention is to hit'em where it hurts.
PEOPLE, PEOPLE please stop saying she was released from the police station. She was ALLEGELY released from the police station. Until I hear that the police station was searched from the ground up I view it as a potential crime scene. Do they even have cameras in the police station?
I agree. This needs to be brought to the light. Whoever reads this needs to spread the word so it is brought into action. There could have been something really dirty that went on that night where she was dropped off in the 'trails behind a malibu home'. Deputies offering to drive her home you know what I'm sayin..life is short people come on we need to keep our eyes out for stuff like this
@TruthFan actually the family have seen her leave the police department and 2 minutes later a police officer was behind her. the family has actually seen that, they have said that today.
this is so sad omg : like they had to have sum doubt that she wasn't as normal as she shld be b/c she was tell the owner of the place that she was frm mars and all this other stuff : mannnnnnn these people REALLY absolutely missd up on this one : I believe they knw more than what they are telln : man FUC* the police : I'm sorry but dayum like fareally
I'm sorry I think everyone failed this young woman. If she were my daughter I would have been at that police station camped out on some chairs or parked outside the station, waiting for her release so that I could catch her. Not that I blame the parents but I'm different like that. I'm from Chicago and when people "disappear" after they are taken into police custody it's usually because they were beaten by the polce and taken to a sub-basement to heal before they are released to the public.
This video is 100% accurate. She left the Sheriff station at 1:30 AM and was seen by a highly reliable source around 5:30 to 6:00 AM, 7.5 miles from the station at Coles and Woodbluff. This is substantiated by Sheriff Dept tapes of the converstion with the person who spotted her. From there she has not been seen up to today exactly one month later. This is the most probable, direct route. Sheriff showed up 3 hrs later. She was long gone.
Was this girl a track star or something? Damn that's a hell of a walk. What would be the point of walking that far when she could have stayed at the station and called a cab to take her to her parents and have them pay for the ride? Was the police station searched? Every nook and cranny?
Where is the proof that she wandered that far nto the darkness? And it was very light out around this time(7:30 am) , someone would have seen her for sure.
When did the police know that she had a mental illness? When did the communication end between she and her parents. I do believe this video is inaccurate.
What baffles me is how the people at the Malibu police station regarded her of sound-enough mind to release her. At the very least - the mere fact that she made the decision to leave the station in the pitch of night with no transportation says a lot about her mental state.
I agree it looks like she had a possible mental break. The only time a person would travel at night like that is if they are mentally out of it or distraught. Do we even know if she signed release/exit forms at the station? So many questions. It's been a month now and it doesn't look good at all. There are all sorts of people out in this world looking for women walking alone on a deserted road. Very sad, sounds like an avoidable situation.
Compelling, chilling stuff. I almost want to watch the vid w/o the 50% speed increase, to really get as much "feel" as possible of how far she walked & of the terrain (which, from what I just saw, isn't as "treacherous" as I imagined- but it's still not an area that you want to be walking in the pitch of night.)
Actually, wasn't she spotted at a later time than when she was seen around the endpoint of this video? I thought I read that another person saw her walking around 7:30-ish a.m....
