Beat and the sample are sick, but i think u should put the polyphony on 1 and the release to the max for the break cause it sounds like the sounds are mixing up, the first with the next one.
@yamaha93 it's been 10 years or more since I've had the Proteus 2000 hooked to my MPC I could not tell you what the name of that sample is only that it is in the Proteus 2000 rack mount it was only 700 dollars back then it had a lot of nice sounds and it.

Thank you fam Works good and this MPC stayed on for 3 years straight. My boy Sup never turn it off He put 378.6 sec of ram in it. His zip drive broke and the floppy broke. He kept all songs he made in the memory till he put them on the Akai DPS. Yup I'll stop by peep your beat's Blessed day.
