I am going to the state show this year! Are we allowed to use treats when performing? Me and my friend want to try it in a the pairs division, and we've never done it before. Thanks! and great job to all of you!
dear kaiti3113, I am also going to the state dog show this year! what excitement! but I have been showing dogs long enough to know that you can't use treats in ANY competition. That goes for freestyle too. Just go out and have fun, if the heat is bad, try to keep your dog happy. Good luck!
They look great! I wish my state/county 4-H competitions had freestyle, I have been working at it with my mixed breed, Honey Bear. You should put up more videos of your 4-H club kids practicing or something!
