I think the point was the quality of the song may be the reason it doesn't get played on MTV. MTV isn't known to choose songs for great lyrics, unless one's definition of "great" means lots and lots of cussing.
So their argument that the "only reason" MTV would choose not to play it is political doesn't really make sense.

The question of the song's musical merits aside, its message is quite simply and simplistically wrong. Just about everything Bush has done re: the "War on Terror" and the war in Iraq has been shown to be a collosal and tragic blunder. You cannot negate that in a song simply by saying he was right when all the facts show he was wrong.

Yeah, lyrics aside, that song was bland, boring, and unoriginal. And it didn't really make any political point (the same way alot of Liberal crust punk bands don't make very good points), besides "Bush was right! woot woot!". I'm a professional musician who voted for Nader and I think that this song is great both musically and politically. I was wrong but I did my homework about what's really going on in the world and though Bush has been wrong on a number of issues, he was most definitely right about the issues that they sing about. Keith Uber-man should get over himself - fat chance - and be a journalist for a change, not an entertainer.
