People who said that Halo 1 had more creative maps than Conduit: How the hell is never ending string of copy-pasted, grey corridors creative? Have you even played the game, or just checked the screen shots which usually only show outside areas. About 85% of Halos maps consists of these fucking maddening grey corridors. Conduit is not a good game i played it for about 5 hours had some fun but i never played it after that. Halo 2 is much better. i say this as a wii owner. Conduit does not even come close the Halo 1. The maps in conduit suck...theres only 6 of them and they are about as small as a golden eye 64 map and extreamly uncreative. The only thing cool was that it was a fps that actually was playable with the wiimote. everything else in the conduit has been done before.
Both games have their ups and downs. I have played The Conduit but not Halo 2. However, I have played Halo 3 and think that The Conduit is actually harder in solo player. Halo 2 also has it's benefit of playing multi-player when the internet isn't available. Anyone can easily prove this comment wrong because there is more evidence than what I mentioned.

I'm not saying the Conduit is a terrible game. Ive played it before, its alot of fun, and for a wii game the graphics are great. but the overall design choices make the game look worse than what its capable of.
i have a ps3, a wii and owned a 360 once and so far the most fun has been the wii because it has good games we used to play wen we were kids such as super mario. all u do in halo is kill things whereas in super mario u rescue a princess and get laid. :D

People play it because they can't take harder games, usually. Most people who know better than screaming "BCUZ ITZ DA BEST" actually openly admit that they play it because they find faster, more difficult games to be too much for them.
i like how the conduit made the kriss super V into a lazerish gun (see 1:39 - 1:50) thats actually a pretty cool idea. makeing real guns into lazer ones. but i dunno. Halo 2 is so meh, and so is the conduit. i do like the way the wii handels shooters though. i like the ability to be about to look around the scree rather then be stuck to the center of it.
yeah, its much better than a joystick for fps games because you actually aim, it feels like your more in control, and no dealing with turn speeds or anything because after a while its just natural to point somewhere and shoot it. its more fun too, reminds me of the arcade games, cept with an acurate pointer and u dont have to put quarters in lol. Call of Duty; world at war is a pretty awesome on the wii too.

i'd have to say conduit. manly because the wii has a reputation for screating simple games with simple graphics but ocasionally they create something like the conduit. im glad they finaly started making more fps with better graphics. it seems with all game systems it takes time to "discover" what it can really do. i can't wait for red steel 2 supposibly they used tf2 style graphics to make a higher "frames per second" rate.

@TVsideornaments the gamecube was more powerful then a PS2 (look at Resident Evil 4 GC vs PS2 for an example) and only marginally outperformed by the Xbox.The Wii has an overclocked gamecube GPU and more physical memory.

@TVsideornaments yea its better than the ps2's, and in very few of cases better than the xbox...the wii is definatly a good console to buy as long as you dont have really high excpectations. I prefer the wii because theve been making very good choices on what games to put onto the wii (conduit, silent hill: shattered memories and the upcoming game "the grinder (which looks kick ass). Really? the conduit has well over 2x texture res, much better shaders and a higher poly count on characters. in my book its no competition. the only plus's i see for halo 2 is better art style and better AA

i'm probably an xbox fan, and I can say that I don't think it revolves around graphics. You don't like shooters? That's your opinion, but please tell me when the wii gets something as big or as good as fallout or oblivion, because the wii's problem is simply processing power. This doesn't just limit the graphics, it shortchanges the game's size. Oh and by the way, name one good wii shooter that will be more popular than halo or mw2 simply because I don't think you can.

The only thing that has EVER made Halo and CoD popular is online multiplayer quite frankly. You 360 fannyboys thing the gaming world revolves around those two games and their online modes. @Broockle yes that was annoying, the enemies of the conduit were lame, but also in games like metroid, zelda or mario galaxy the enemies are stupid as well because of the wii processor, how do they fix it? puzzles!! puzzles everywhere!, just make the dumb enemies invulnerable on every place but their urethra and put many obstacles in the level as possible. thats how Nintendo does it.

Halo 2 had way more gametypes, better maps, better controls, vehicals , a ranking system, map packs, clearer graphics.a party system, and most importantly better gameplay. @porkyminch01 I'm sorry, what games have you been playing. How the hell are Mario/Zelda/Metroid enemies stupid? In Halo, you had to fight the same bland enemy's over and over and over,while Mario has fought hundreds of enemy's, each one with tons of variation. The puzzles are fun and EASY (I'm a 13 year old and I can do them) and I find Halo a mindless shooter, compared to say, super Mario galaxy 2 where you had to use your mind to collect all the green stars

@thesladey97 well enemies just walk towards you in Nintendo games, the difference is they only have a vulnerable point or an specific way to defeat them yet only touching them hurts you, its not an AI merit, its a merit on the character designers, level programmers, but not AI, the enemies in halo can find you if you hide, can shoot you across a huge map, can interact between them and stuff.

i like how the conduit made the kriss super V into a lazerish gun (see 1:39 - 1:50) thats actually a pretty cool idea. makeing real guns into lazer ones. but i dunno. Halo 2 is so meh, and so is the conduit. i do like the way the wii handels shooters though. i like the ability to be about to look around the scree rather then be stuck to the center of it.

yeah, its much better than a joystick for fps games because you actually aim, it feels like your more in control, and no dealing with turn speeds or anything because after a while its just natural to point somewhere and shoot it. its more fun too, reminds me of the arcade games, cept with an acurate pointer and u dont have to put quarters in lol. Call of Duty; world at war is a pretty awesome on the wii too.

i'd have to say conduit. manly because the wii has a reputation for screating simple games with simple graphics but ocasionally they create something like the conduit. im glad they finaly started making more fps with better graphics. it seems with all game systems it takes time to "discover" what it can really do. i can't wait for red steel 2 supposibly they used tf2 style graphics to make a higher "frames per second" rate.
