  • which one is gonna land 1st on the street if u trow them off ur window?

film it and get back with the new vid

  • LOL i have a toshiba laptop satellite that i brought in 2007 and it has vista and it starts in 2 minutes.

  • LOL i have a toshiba laptop satellite that i brought in 2007 and it has vista and it starts in 2 minutes. XD

  • lol now i will restart my notebook and count

  • I got the acer D250.

  • I've timed my iMac and it starts up in about 19 seconds.

  • but the acer has more things on the desktop so that slows it down also it looks better

  • i got a 30 sec netbook!

  • they both do the same shit... lol

  • thats harsh lol, they only have a 1.6ghz atom cpu and 1gb ram

  • lol thats true. im getting the aspire d250 and i cant waitt =)

  • im went for the samsung, it came today

  • kool kool, whats the spec's and how much did u spend?

  • lol the boottime on my aa1 is 23sec. i dont know why but it is so....

  • jajaja!!!...

  • yay samsung 1 :)

  • what does it matter? why would you compare the booting time? this is ridiculous

  • so that you can pull them out anywhere and start working. netbooks are for on-the-go people.

  • so? i can wait 2 seconds

  • the windows xp installed in samsung is different of acer. acer windows is not the same

  • What is the point here? How important two stupid seconds mean to the regular consumer anyways? I mean I don't see any critical difference. I have an Acer AOD 250 and it works great, very solid and very cheap.

  • genial!

    porque tengo un nc10 :)

    bakanooso

  • Got mine NC 10 for 476.07 USD

  • Cool both are Great Machines.

  • how much is the Samsung NC-10

  • I got mine for 329 pounds in Black.... it's glorious

  • what is that in american? you know dollars

  • errm about $533 but i know u can get it alot cheaper

  • Same And mine can run SPORE!

  • Hardcore!... even tho it's a little machine it's awesome... i use mine as my main machine and i dont have any problems or regrets with it...

  • Wow

  • You would have to do a fresh install on XP on each netbook to give a fair comparison.

Booting with each netbook's cr@pware filled XP OS will seriously affect the boot up time.

  • But of course that would be unrealistic since most users don't want to bother reinstalling their OS.

  • Oh and I run World of Warcraft at 25 FPS when I'm not in a large populated city :].

I hope to boost my overall performance by adding the 2gb RAM stick. It slows up when I have both Azureus Vuze and Fire Fox open (and realplayer... and iTunes... and AIM...) ... I'm a man of many windows open at once :P

  • I have the 10.1 inch, 1gb RAM, 160GB HDD, 6-cell battery...

I have Windows 7 Build 7077 x32 on mine, and it boots up in about 20 seconds, then takes 10 seconds to load my wifi/PC Tools Internet Suite (best anti-virus/spyware)

I plan on upgrading to the 9-cell battery and 2GB RAM but I'm not sure how to upgrade the RAM on this particular model. There are videos for the 6.9 inch saying 1.5 gb is max, What RAM should I buy for the 10.1 inch?

  • Sorry..it might be your applications..I have a white--acer 10.1 and its pretty fast. I have quite a few applications on it...as well, could you run a test on that piticular one??

  • My AAO is the fastest with Windows /

  • My Acer Loads Hella Fast At Startup

I Got The Acer Aspire One Windows XP Home Edtion, 1Gb Ram, 160 GB Hard Drive, One Account, 10.1 Inch Screen 1024x600 DImension

  • the D150 can take 2gb of ram

  • so can the nc10

  • ur acer aspire sucks then cause mine takes 22 seconds with windows xp

  • Yeah i my acer one takes only 20 sec's!

  • too many startup applications running here huh? i support Acer Aspire One!

  • @klesk85 yeah i have the acer exept the newer one

  • I suspect the difference lies in power supply. These are being tested on battery, and many computers schedule their processors to run slower when not plugged into AC.
