YOu see I am a producer/engineer and musician. I own Auto-tune as well as Melodyne (which is far more transparent) I dont think its disrespectful to call someone out on cheating. Autotune ( by antares) was designed to fix notes that are out of tune on an otherwise great performance. But GLEE and most POP acts today abuse this software and tune the whole vocal to the point of insult.

@jennifernyts7 Also I do think shes a well trained singer, But emotionally she has lots to learn. Ask her about Barbra and she'll tell you. Brassy big voices are great for the stage but for POP songs it comes across as in genuine. There is no denying the girl has big pipes, but so does Christina and she insists on ruining songs with over singing and melismatic runs destroying an semblance of melody. Autotune is out of hand especially on GLEE. Though I agree Lea probably does not need it.

The two versions have different vibes and feels to them, which isn't necessarily bad. They are both wonderful. And, just a side note Lea's is in a different key, so they're going to be different to begin with...

I like both versions. This is amazing and the original, but Lea Michele's version is absolutely incredible as well. It's such a difficult song to sing well technically, as is anything Barbra (because Barba is practically a vocal goddess), and Lea does astonishingly well. So I like both versions, but I don't like any other covers I've heard.
