To say without a doubt is kind of....assumptive. It's not like all pharaohs were systematically tested for phenotypes and a study was produced to prove whether the majority rulers were lighter or darker. Anyway, there wasn't even a concept of black or white culture yet. It hasn't been conceived of.

And if you notice, the vast majority of mummies look white, or closer to white than Negroid. And their DNA suggests likewise. That's probably because those who were most carefully mummified were royalty. It suggests a racial hierarchy even then, because you do see blacks in the dynastic art. They just weren't by any means the whole picture. Yes, the ancients were mixed race.

Many who married into Egyptian royalty were foreigners and by the time of Cleopatra almost no one Egypt looked like the those thousands of years before. Notions of racial supremacy originated only recently as a means of economic control with the rise of globalization. Heck, there was even one black pope. You could say that royalty didn't hang out in the sun like laborers.

They've recently dug up a number of archaic homo sapien fossils outside of Africa-- places like Turkey, China, Russia. And even if we did all come out of Africa-- it DOESN'T mean we're all originally black. Modern humans left Africa during the late Pleistocene 100,000 years ago-- the ICE AGE. There's no reason, nor proof, that Negroid phenotypical characteristics had even developed yet.

@takfam07 all it proves is that we've been around for a long, long time. Science says warm climates and the sun favor darker pigmentation. It's of no special significance. All races come from Africa, genetic strains evolve, whether mongoloid, caucasoid, or negroid. Just because someone is genetically caucasoid doesn't mean thousands of years living under the sun won't increase pigmentation and give your tribe a dark tan. All features have a common source. Skin color is not a primary feature.

This is how my mother taught me. She was Quaker. I lived in a hub. The Jewish lived here, the German Baptists lived over to the southwest, the Catholis lived to the south.
