I think the reason you don't read stuff with batman in it is because batman is in EVERYTHING, and because you have so many. You are tired of him. I love him and his villains equally, just because i love the tragedy that is the character of batman.
could you possibly share with us what it is you like so much about Mad Hatter? I always thought he was interesting. I thought he was done terrible, TERRIBLE in the Animated Series. First of all he was too tall. I think the episode; Perchance to Dream was good but it had little to do with him, it was just an ineteresting character study on bruce Wayne and would he be happy if that event in Crime Alley that made Batman had never happen. So tell us, what is it about Mad Hatter that you love so much
i agree, batman's villains are amazing, but i personally prefer The Flash's rogues much better than spiderman's, especially the current rogue's main team(Captain Cold, Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, Heatwave, Trickster and Captain Boomerang).
as for Batman villains, I'd love that someone actually did something with the Riddler(as a villain. not that i hate him as an anti-hero, i would just like more of him as a villain), Firefly, Maxie Zeus or more(much more) with Black Mask.
I like Jeph Loeb as a writer . I know your not a big fan of his Scarecrow but I find him singing those nursery Rhymes dude thats creative and creeping . Jeph Loeb wrote Hush and Long Halloween and those are some of the greatest Batman stories ever told
@blowshimselfupdude I've read all of them I Like Hush Knightfall No mans Land and R.I.P Hush is right up there with them though dude just because you don't like it dosen't mean its not good .
@TheDarkNightwing ok thats fine but still just cuz you don't like something don't mean it's not good to other people I'm sure plenty of people like Hush .
@DRisLegend200919 I agree with that, but i like his work for the fact that they are like serial killer stories, and i love serial killers. Other than that, yeah he sucks. From what i heard about red hulk, it sounds like he has no respect for continuity and other people's work, and that is just shameful.
Can i just ask Why do you like the Mad Hatter, i see him as a bland and useless villain with a childish gimmick, Maxi Zeus is widely considered a bad Villain and he's a Batman villain, so your theory is flawed, Maxi Zeus is a character that would have to be rebooted to make interesting being the fact he's a nut ball that thinks he zeus, so if i did a batman run id use it to re-invent maxi zeus
Well 1 story where a character or is interesting doesn't mean he's a good character, it means he's not bad in one story, but i think you could keep the Zeus gimmick but change it around to make him less of a nutball and more of a businessman and mob lord with a Greek theme, that might be more appealing to the character for me anyways
that flaws your theory, your saying any character can be good, then in judgment there is no bad characters, just bad stories doing injustice to the character, every hero no matter whom, has the one uninteresting villain, and your statement is opinion based, as well is mine, my personal believe is that batman has few good villains and other just to whimsical and gimmicky, like the villains in the 60's show that haven't made theatrical of many comic book appearances, like King Tut and Eggman
I think you should write a Batman man comic. If you did i feel that you would do Batman and which ever character you choose preferably Mad Hatter and The Riddler because i think The Riddler would provide an interesting cross with MH.
Well since it's the most recent thing in the Batman franchise. And since not everyone that subscribes to me reads comics it helps give them a level ground.
Also yes I obviously do since I've done 19 Batman vids and about 120 vids all together.
Not true. I've reviewed a number of movies and CD's not pertaining to comics. Also I review comics. I give my thoughts on current events in comics.
Now your just trying to start shit. It would be like saying "Hey Bill O'Riley all you talk about is politics. It's the same thing over and over again. I mena I know that ever issue is diffrent and you have a diffrent opinion. But in some stupid way it's just the same thing. You shoudl talk about ball room dancing. Or The Crow"
all batman books are gotham books, all the characters get there own good amount of facetime and they all kind of have that special moment that shows how deep the character is. speaking of x-men, are you planning a 1st thoughts video for the new x-men origins movie?
I kind of agree with you on this. The thing I feel you failed to bring up though, is that Batman's villains only work for Batman. Unlike most villains who can be written for other heroes, I don't think you can write batman's villains for another hero, atleast not without Batman being very much part of the story. So it's not just the villains, but the villains and Batman, which is something you don't see in many other comics. In most other comics it's all about the hero, but here it's 50/50.
That's a fantastic point. I hadn't even thought if that. But your right. Like Iron Man could go up against The Moleman and no one would think twice. But if Booster Gold were to fight Two-Face it would seem odd if it wasn't tied to Batman in some way.
Well, Marvel has always had this thing in which they mush all character and villains together. I think a better example would be a couple of Superman's villains. Doomsday and the Lantern Corps. Darkseid and Wonder Woman. I've seen examples in which those characters have been connected, and Superman isn't even mentioned. Heck, I've seen Braniac done without Superman even being shown(it happend in a cartoon though, but it still worked). I don't think that could ever be done with a Batman villain.
well I think that You are kind of right, I don't know for me I will pick up something and read it because Batman's in it so that is just me, But it is true that Batman has the best villains and that they can hype it up just as much as Batman.
I think the reason you don't read stuff with batman in it is because batman is in EVERYTHING, and because you have so many. You are tired of him. I love him and his villains equally, just because i love the tragedy that is the character of batman.

@TheDarkNightwing Hush is barely passable and that's just because of the art. You need to read alot more Batman if you think that's one of the best.

I really liked how vulture was potrayed in Spiderman Noir, aside from that instance, I have nothing but ambivalence for the character.

Actually Maxi was really intresting in Cacophony. you didn't have to reboot it.

You knwo that's what I said about the Dark Knight. It's not a Batman movie it's a Gotham movie.
I did one a while back but I may do a second thoughts once I find out a little more about how their handling Deadpool and Gambit.

Well Darkseid isn't a Superman villian. Superman just ends up fighting him.

True, but he is most associated with him. I guess that is also due to Superman's popularity compared to the popularity of Orion(IMO).
