I'm moving to Florida. I miss it so much, lived there when I was a kid. Enjoyed the weather so much, going to the beach every weekend. Then I moved up to Wisconsin with my family. I hate it here, there is nothing but the usual.

I'm going to move close to Miami when I graduate from HS. I don't care if I don't make jack crap, I can go to the beach and have a vacation every weekend year round!!!!

It is good as long as you do not park your car at the Omni Parking at downtown Miami. It is a unfriendly place for tourist. (no cameras allowed) And parking their is complicated you may get stuck paying more money than whats on the contract.

The jobs in miami are rapidly becoming non existent. the people here are brain dead materialistic fucks who only care for boning and partying and thats mostly the youth. It's hot as hell most of the year with a side life sucking humidity, mosquito's rampant, you'll get cha car robbed and your house broken into. walk around the wrong place and get jumped. Miami is awesome! I love it down there! It is easily one of the best cities I have been too and I have been to plenty. I have been to London, Madrid, and New York which are all great and stuff, but they don't have that energetic party vibe that Miami has. The beaches are everywhere and you see all type of people living it out like there is no tomorrow! Its GREAT!

Most of us Miamians that live in the actual city have major economic problems, can't find work or have been fired from their jobs, and if they have a job, it don't pay that well. Nothing but mean and frustrated people with an added dose of a major language barrier. If you don't speak Spanish in Miami, you're screwed :P ...Miami is only good for tourism or wealthy people.

It is also home to Lolita , a lone Orca kept in the smallest Orca pool. AT Miami Seaquarium owned by Arthur Hertz . SHe is held alone , without other Orca company, she performs every day for the tourists.She is a wild whale taken from her mother using explosives. She now has a sea pen prepared for her to retire to. She could be looked after but swim in a straight line and talk to the wild orcas as they swim past. Mr Hertz let her go, she has worked for long enough , time to let her live.

@thuggemini, Overtown is one of the worst parts of town. Its like telling tourists going to New York to go to the South Bronx, or telling tourists in LA to go to South Central or Compton.

There's plenty of nice places to go to in Miami other than Overtown.

I lived downtown for a few years recently, but Coconut Grove (00:17) is the easily most chill neighborhood in the city. There are restaurants, malls, movie theaters and the boat marina next to the bay. Miami Beach is great too but Key Biscayne is also a neat island paradise to check out.
