Watch a Pre-January 8th copy of Inception. Listen closely when the actors say imagine, reality, and safe, or point pistols. You'll hear the words, Loughner, offin' her, part of the word Giffords, and much more. Some say they hear, do it.
well this really aint a necessary thing for me, I dont wanna turn pictures around and cut them to pieces, I simply wanna look at them, touch screen on my phone was a little annoying so I wont really get anything like this
If you don't like the lack of options in the new menu of Firefox and miss the old style (File, Edit, View) but at the same time you don't like the old style too and would like to save space similarly as in the new menu, obviously wanting an instant access to options (without clicking too much) check my idea of a new menu that provides all good points on my blog: davidpohl.wordpress, com and if you like it helped me convince Mozilla to my idea.
it can be quite of a technological advance but i don't really see any practical uses on it... it seems like some stuff you enjoy just the first time you use it and then you forget about it... but all in all, cool stuff for those who find it useful, not for me.
@GunBl4d3 The fact that Mozilla found a way to implement advanced multitouch functionality so that web developers can deploy and use it in a meaningful way, is a great thing for the future of the web. I'm sure as more people acquire tablet-style PC's and input devices, there will be more intelligent uses of the technology. You certainly wouldn't want to touch a screen to type an essay, but to browse google image results, or youtube.. sure. As time goes on we'll see this in use and appreciate it.
@tequixote just saying that i don't own and i'm not thinking about buying any kind of tablet pc or the so. I know it's a revolutionary functionality and I agree it's gonna be a great thing for the future. I was just pointing out that I don't appreciate it as much as other functionalities and it seems a superfluous functionality to me right now. but i accept that for some users (like tablet pc users as you said) it's gonna be a great advancement.
HTML5 support makes it faster since it now supports hardware accelerated graphics from the GPU and through WebGL and a half dozen other things(querySelectAll, integrated json parsing, doubly optimized javascript through jagermonkey, etc).
lol , people are exited to see all browsers trying to mimic what flash did for years, while they are completing about flash animations at the same time.
But what they are actuality doing is bloat the browsers that are meant to do something else. Everything is slowing down for no reason and I have to buy a new pc just to see the same content. Avery Chrome update make it heavier, let's see this firefox update.
I don't what that all aver the web. Some ads are going to be really annoying.
CSS3 and HTML5... what a great preview. S Jobs was so right on this technology because is really the best for multitouch screens! ... BTW Congrats Firefox!
