I think the best trailers are ones that don't give away too much of the plot. Megamind's 2nd trailer was a good example but this really gives away a lot of the story.

Some parts were totally hilarious, some were just so plain adorable, some were very sad... Each time I thought a certain scene was about to happen a certain way, it didn't, or did but for a way different reason. It's really not as predictable as it looks and some parts made my mouth fall opened from the shock lol.

And I've got to admit that this trailer is maybe a--liiitle too spoily. But still! There were many surprises in the movie too! :D

Why did they change the plot? Unless I'm mistaken, when Dreamworks announced this movie, the plot was to have Megamind kill the superhero he was after and not know what to do afterwords. It was funny and original, but now it's all about Megamind becoming good and taking over for the superhero, who looks like he's going through a mid-life crisis. Not only that, but the trailers look really stupid. What the crap, Dreamworks?
