  • Glover = Brilliant characterization.

  • It must be nice to be bi-lingual. Classic.

  • Id love to do very naughty things w Crispin...looking like James Dean up in this snizz. Winkler n Mc Ginley can stuff it.

  • he kicks down the stack of books with a vengeance. got dang lol

  • Awesome! definitely Awesome! one slick dude learnin from another!

  • this is great

  • Since when did the Fonz become such a boy scout. I don't really watch the show, but it's still weird seeing him lecturing a kid to stay in school.

  • Feathered, blow dried hair with frosted tips is much cooler than the Fonz.

  • On and very prominent in the '50s I must say.

  • This takes place after George Mcfly punched Biff at the Under the Sea Enchantment Ball and he became a badass

  • Did the Fonz time travel into the 80s.. ?

  • Glover jumped the shark before the fonz

  • is this the married with children crossover <3 u crisp

  • Crispin is cooler than the Fonz!

  • LOL ... THE LAST DIOLOG WAS TO FUNNY !! CLEVER TIMING ..

  • He didn't "pay for that"! What about the desk? How will Crispin ever learn?

  • didn't know cristen was so ???? interesting? eccentric? check out the letterman appearences on you tube very bizarre but kinda like Andy Kaufman

  • Damn Ted C Mcginley! That dude is everywhere!

  • I wouldn't expect Crispin Glover to be able to pull off a troubled youth with an attitude (because he's so eccentric and has a very unique and measured rythym with his way of talking), but he's so great in this tiny little snippet of a role! it's absolutely hilarious! I know it's been a few decades, but if you're reading this Mr. Glover, great job! love it!

  • Did they have ten speeds back in the 50's?

  • Its Jefferson Darcy!

  • damn he looks like James Dean.

  • Wearing the sports pages for shoes....

  • is that Jefferson D'arcy?

  • @OnlySeanJohn Yes sir.

  • hilarious!!

  • yeah he had great hair back in the day

  • I like @2:15 when Fonze and Crispin put there foreheads together :))

  • OMG he is so funny and so H-O-T!

  • "Why would someone wan't to forfeit their right to a quality education!"

    hahahaha

  • My God, this is incredible, I never knew Crispin Glover was on Happy Days! He's totally rocking one of my own mid-80's looks there as well, with the anti-gravity hair and the grey overcoat!

  • holy shit, how old IS that guy?

  • "It must be nice to be bilingual."

    Great line!

  • I think hes a vampire

  • is that a voice over at 1:02?

  • @pippigladstone Sure seems like it. Good catch.

  • he stole this scene

  • Slacker!

  • Hilarious that by '83 the creators of the show gave us on making this look like the early 60s. Look at Ted's hairstyle! LoL

  • @SoulstylistJukebox I love Ted's hair. He's pretty hot.

  • Wow, Crispin doesn't age does he?

  • why could he not of kept his hair like that?

  • George Mcfly and Jefferson D'arcy...never thought I'd see them on screen together.

  • @EminemFan202 F'inay, gotta love Jefferson and McFly.

  • APROPOS folks, it's a foreign word, look it up! hahaha

  • Crispin is awesome!!!

  • HE'S JUST SO AWESOME!!!

  • I seem to think I saw this at one point... Here Crispin REALLY looks like Sean Penn, and they coulda acted together in something rather interesting

  • @MetallicBill At Close Range , christopher walken sean penn crispin glover, Great Movie!

  • george mcfly, what a dreamboat!

  • jefferson d'Arcy and McFly ?

  • "Hello? Hello? Anybody home? Huh? Think, McFly. Think! I gotta have time to get 'em retyped. Do you realize what would happen if I hand in my reports in your handwriting? I'll get fired. You wouldn't want that to happen, would ya? Would ya?"

  • @4thandinches haha! love it!! i'll tell ya... biff and george were the true stars of BTTF! =)

  • Crispin Glover = Adorable :D

  • McFly ,,,hello !!!!

  • at 0:57, Crispin should have said, "Hey you, get your damn hands off me!" LOL

  • @jabremer66 u mean, ur gonna go touch her on her.... on her...... ?? LOL!

  • He is HOT! He reminds me of Tom Delonge

  • @irhjma30000 I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT OH MY GOD

I thought I was the only one, ahahaha.

  • @trusttheedoctor Hahah awesome! That's pretty crazy that we both think that, I thought I was the only one as well! :D I'm not sure why he reminds me of him...he just does!

  • it's nice when his hair isn't greasy.. xD He is sooooo cute. ;3

Crispin is so very amazing. :)

  • wow! this is terriffic.!

  • Tell him "thanks" lol... :)

  • NERDS!!

  • Did Crispin dye his hair, or just get older? Here his hair is dark blonde, now it's brown?

  • @miracleworker12744 The lighting they used on the show makes it look a little lighter. And he's had combed and wet hair in a lot of his more famous roles.

  • Wow Crispin is really cute!

  • wow he looked good back then... but ill always remember him the way he looked in back to the future

  • JEFFERSON D'ARCY!

  • @ShoshJProductions1 the hair comment is great

  • Okay. Happy Days was supposed to take place in the 50's. It was on forever, so charitably you can say this could be the early - mid 60's. What time warp allowed Ted to have that hair???

Crispin Glover is great, as always. Henry Winkler - man, he's done so much great comedy work lately, it's funny to recall he was kind of a TV badass. LOL - I'm gettin' old!

  • Isnt that Marcy's husband from Married Wif Children

  • Is that Ted McGinley with Crispin?

  • Oh my he's gorgeous.

  • I can't help but think the principal needs to shout "nerd!" instead of hood.

  • @MissKitae Lol ! - so true !

Ted was great in 'Revenge of the Nerds' :D

  • Way cuter here than later on...

  • Remember Crispin from Friday 13th Final Chapter? "Where's the corkscrew?" Then stabbed by Jason in the hand with it and a meat cleaver to the face to top it off :-)

  • Crispin could have played a hell of a James Dean in a James Dean movie when he was at this age. He has similar looks, and a similar personality as Dean, especially in this role he played. Just picture him at that time with a red windbreaker and jeans.

  • The Glove

  • Jefferson Darcy!

  • Is Crispin the one in the leather jacket?

  • @reaperphilia Woahhhhhhhhhh, the one in the leather jacket is the Fonz.

  • @reaperphilia no he is the one in the long grey jacket

  • I'd like to pin Crispin Glover against the wall, too. Just sayin'.

  • Mr. Glover is soo adorable i lovers him so uber much. im so in love.

  • Is the blond guy Jefferson D'Arcy from Married with Children?

  • Crispy was hot in 1983 and he's still hot now! =D

  • "It must be nice to be bilingual...."

  • so young!

  • Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

  • CRISPIN GLOVER and THE FONZ! good good. crispin glover is gangly and adorable.

  • Aww...he keeps shoving Crispin against the wall O_O

  • I love Krispin

  • THe REAL CRISPIN GLOVWER lovers group on FACEBOOK!!!

  • tell'em thanks hahaha

  • Wow, a Crispin Glover/Henry Winkler/Ted McGinley moment. Great 'bar bet' trivia potential here!

  • yeah, crispin can kick down tables. unfortunately, he missed kicking letterman.

  • Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli. The Fonz! And so began obsessions with jackets of leather, rides on motorcycles and many things Italian. Love the "translation" bits. And Glover! Crispin.

  • I love him then, i love him now, crispin is so cool

  • does teach call him a little shit instead of "hood" at 1:03?

  • @nallgire nooooo lol are u retarded

  • I think its "maggot"

  • I like when Crispin says it must be nice to be bi-lingual.

  • Isn't that an early 70's Vega at the start of this clip??

And Fonz is such a hypocrite he dropped out of school TWICE, once at first then again after he "dropped in" and got a 66 on some test he tried to cheat at!! He couldn't take school!

  • Yeah but that doesn't make him a dummy. He may be a drop out but he makes a lot of sense.

  • Crispin Glover Is So Handsome!

  • @AshtrayHearts So's Ted McGinley. Fonz wasn't too shabby either.

  • Crispin plays the voice of 6 in 9!!

  • dont get your hopes up. he had like 6 lines

  • I love how this show takes place in the late 50's early 60's, yet the actors had long 80's hair styles.

  • how do you see long 80's hairstyles when their hair doesn't reach their collar

  • I don't think he said "you little hood". I'm pretty sure the word "bastard" was in there somewhere.

  • Comment removed

  • oh my gosh. i was not aware this show went through the 80's....

  • Awesome!

  • "There will be no hot lunches until my wallet is returned"...considering what I remember about how awful my school lunches were, that's not exactly a bad thing.:) Crispin is really a very decent actor, and here, even this early, his performance is much stronger than most one-time Happy Days visitors.

  • He is a very good actor, it's hard to believe he's 19 in this clip...

  • Fonz always knows what to do huh?

  • really criminal that they had the gall to call whatever this crap is "Happy Days"

  • George Mcfly!

  • GREAT SCOTT! It's really George McFly?

  • It's Jingle Dale.

  • Yes! Crispin Glover played George McFly, Michael J. Fox's dad in the Back To The Future movies. My favorite part of the first BTTF is when George nails Biff in the parking lot outside the dance hall.

  • Actually, Glover only played George McFly in the first movie. In the sequels, George McFly was played by Jeffrey Weissman.

  • Glover appeared in the second one in 1955 using the original movie's footage

  • Crispin was only in the first BTTF. They got another actor (the one pooka5472 mentions) and put prosthetics over him to make him look like Cripsin Glover. EVen Crispin's friends were fooled so Crispin sued the producers, leading the Screen Actors Guild to enact tougher rules limiting studios' claim to an actors' likeness.

  • Crispin's dad was Mr. Wint in the 007 flick Diamonds Are Forever.... when you watch it you can totally see the family resemblance, right down to how they deliver their lines...

  • he looks like James dean

  • ill second that

  • cheap wine and lifesavers?

  • Wow it sure was easy to turn a delinquents life around in those days.

  • Why is the Fonz wearing bright blue jeans?

    lol.

    Crispin is so hott!

    =D

  • Hell yeah Crispin is fucking hot.

  • @cnichol51 oh yeah my mom dated him, not lying to ya.

  • H still is! ;)

  • He still is! ;)

  • Jefferson Darcy, nice.

  • I just wanted to see the early work of Crispin Glover. The clip didn't make me crack a smile, I can't believe I wasted so much time watching 'Happy Days'. At first the show really looked like it was in the 50's, but the guy with the Simon LeBon hair is just ridiculous.

  • LOL @ Crispin thinking that the Fonz is bilingual.

  • I could have sworne that the yellow automoblie thats shown at the beginning was a chevy vega,im not sure what year this episode is set in, early sixties more than likely, but vegas weren't produced until 1970.Just a thought.

  • Mcfly!!!

  • I hope Happy Days gets to season 11 on DVD. That'd be AWESOME!

  • I love Crispin Glover. He's the best.

  • crispin is top five sexiest people i've ever seen. everything from his awkward voice to his long nose to his brow range and mannerisms. those two white guys can eat iiiit, eat itttt!

  • cheap wine & lifesavers...fun fun fun!!!

  • that's some stylish hair hahaha

  • Glover has James Dean hair... aaaeeeee.. lol i tried

  • Jefferson!

  • Bad filming. After the desk breaks, there are some shots of Henry Winkler where you can see the desk lamp in the frame.

  • Oh my. He was hot.

  • crispin is so cute in this!!

  • what a cutie.

  • Jefferson looks so much better with dark hair.

  • :57 I guess he CAN kick lol

  • DUDE

    You're right.

  • it must be nice to be bilingual.

  • happy days was only good for about 4 seasons....after that it was lame.

  • Crispin Glover didn't look out of place in this 1950's scenario.

  • robert zemeckis didn't seem to think so

  • LOL, Crispin's on happy days. He came to my city to promote his slideshow and i just laughed, it was so funny.

  • That's the funniest thing I've seen on that show since Arnold left!

  • holy shit, it's jefferson from married with children!

  • lol @ it must be nice to be bilingual!

  • Crispin Glover is my man! Thanks for this, he looks so much different to how I've seen him in movies. Must be the hair I guess.

  • happy days was on past 10 seasons? That's pretty fucked up!
