Hey Elton. So it couldn't just be that more black people were involved in incidents where a taser was necessary? There had to be some racism involved? Because I hear an awful lot about black on black crime being at an all time high right now. I wonder how you explain that. Kind of hard to find some racism to blame that on.

@tigerriot Yeah, darlin', I'm sure you do -hear- a lot about black on black crime. Obviously, it's because blacks are super violent, as an undifferentiated, unified hive mind. Nothing to do with the media selling racial fear to a country that's predominantly white or anything. And I bet all those taserings, nothing to do with how much those cops -heard- about violent blacks.

I feel you and know where you're coming from, but you gotta know what people's rebuttal to this will be, right? That the reason black people are tasered (??) so much is because they are 67% of the crime-committing population. You gotta know people are going to say that.

That all being said, the incidence of tazing you mentioned was very high for all of the people involved. That hopefully can be reduced.

In Houston proper, (not the burbs) I would say you have about 64% or MORE black people....same as in Dallas. The city councils have a high number of blacks. Police leadership has a high number of blacks. I would wager a real bet that is were the incidents happened...Also, some cops just think it is better than pulling a gun...but it can be dangerous as well...Just check your facts...it is not always about race..Large cities have high crime rates and cops who have to deal with it!

Okay, you are talented..I will give you that..

I grew up in the burbs of Houston...As a tiny white female, I can tell you if you look sideways at a cop in ANY city, you don't know what will happen. I was stopped for a traffic stop in Colorado in a small town, and I was so tired and pissed I jumped out of the car. I was not arrested, but my crazy ass scared the cop I think...he was mad as hell.(so was I).

Rule number one, the cops don't care if you are in the NFL. Trust me on that one.

Sound point, but then I can't help but notice that you didn't get shot 47 times while jumping out of the car. Jumping out of a car in anger while being confronted by the police? Hmmm...I'm just not sure if everyone is able...

definitely not.....jumping out of the car after being pulled over is like a deathwish to me. i know i sound crazy but i will NEVER do something like that....for some reason i'm almost certain i would get shot or tazed....
