You are very wrong. The Nazi party is textbook fascism. Hitler may have talked about not liking big business but Nazi Germany was a fascist state. Foreign multinationals worked with the Nazis throughout the life of the Nazi regime, so it wasn't temporary. Examples of this are IBM and Ford. Also Fascism evolved from right wing extremism, which is pretty much the opposite of socialism.

South Koreans in Japan are known for committing crimes. They can easily apply for Japanese citizenship, but they refuse to do so, because they can take many tax benefits by remaining Korean. For every 100 yen a Japanese pays in tax, South Koreans in Japan only pay 60 yen. Then, although they are noncitizens, they protest for voting rights. In other words, they want no taxation but they want representation. This injustice is far beyond what you call "affirmative action" in the USA.

In general, American history education focuses on European and American history. Nevertheless, Japanese wartime atrocities are covered as part of WWII education. However, no atrocity committed by the Japanese was as great as having 50 to 70% of the 53 largest cities in Japan destroyed by firebombing and having Hiroshima and Nagasaki destroyed by nuclear weapons. What happened during Imperial Japan has nothing to do with present day Japan. Leaders of Imperial Japan were killed, hanged, or died.

The other textbooks, which are used by 99.961% percent of Japanese schools do report on comfort women, the Nanjing massacre, and so on. Also, the left-wing teachers unions make sure that the teachers in Japan emphasise these points, regardless of what is in the textbooks. You will find more propaganda in NK, SK, CN.

You do not know what is taught in Japan. Japanese textbooks are a private enterprise, just like in Australia, Canada, and the USA. They are not written as government propaganda, like in North Korea, South Korea, and communist China.

Hitler never received a majority. He was put into a key position by Hindenburg. When Hindenburg died Hitler used the Reichstag fire (most likely set by Nazis, blamed on Socialists) as an excuse to become dictator. The holocaust was an intentional act, not just a slave workforce (which apparently you think would be OK). Whether other nations in different time frames committed genocidal acts does not change the scope and scale of the holocaust. Black people have been mistreated through slavery, apartheid and segregation but that doesn't make the holocaust less horrific. --Sorry, but you're wrong on the first point. Conservatives believe in free speech. Liberals are okay with it so long as it doesn't go against the Liberal agenda. Yes, PC limits freedom of speech, it's meant to limit dissenting speech. And on the third point, Liberals are the only ones who use PC. Therefore, it's their tool.

PC is used by left and right wing figures whenever it is convenient for them. It just works against the Republicans more often.
Conservatives do not believe in free speech, ask the Dixie Chicks. They were banned from many radio stations and received death threats because they think George Bush is a bad president.

Why is it legitimate for a private entity to censor but an elected government cannot. I would personally rather have an elected body make decisions on what is censored then the CEO of a broadcasting company where the average citizen has zero say.

1. Political correctness is bad for free speech.
2. Dividing people into "identities" is unhelpful: dropthedash(dot)com. When I speak to African-Americans or Irish-Americans or whatever, they just sound like Americans to me, making too much of tiny differences.
3. Easy divorce is unhelpful. Selflessness and sacrifice are sometimes required in marriage and child rearing.
4. Affirmative action is unhelpful. It casts doubt on the legitimate achievement. Better to target poverty than colour.
