I enjoyed the "sex talk talk" but the grandma part didn't do it for me. It would have been funnier if the guy was just a random drunk person and not the kid's father at all. I sort of thought it was going that way with the, "first kid you see" line.

Well...the video obviously wasn't one of your better shots. That said, I really loved the original idea of giving the "sex talk talk". There is a lot of potential for advice like "Don't give the sex talk when your kid doesn't feel he's ready - or you are for that matter"... also, I like the performance of your new actor (can we see more of him in the future?).

Unfortunately, the "punchline" really doesn't connect to the plot and removes the attention from it. I want to see a do-over!

I'm not sure I agree with that. That's like saying an artist should put out a sucky painting just so they can say that they put out a painting. I would rather them take their time with the videos if it means that they quality of the product will be better.

Not that this was as terrible as people are saying, it just wasn't one of their best.

But that's just my opinion, just because one person didn't like one video doesn't mean you should stop making videos. Hell, I loved most of the other ones.

They should have ran with the "talking about sex talks like you would talk about sex" thing a little more. As it is, they just made one joke out of it, then jumped straight to the dead grandma, which seemed completely out of place.

I agree. These videos are the live action version of the comics. Not adapted from any of the comics, but it's like they took the script from one his comics and filmed it rather than him drawing it.

Bad chemistry with the actors. Wagner is good, really good. I could see him playing a similar dad role in some kind of horror/thriller flick. Not to say he isn't funny in a dark way, but it clashes with Nickel's more cartoonish acting style.

The ending was pretty unnecessary. It would have been more amusing if he just dismissed his grandma comment and continued talking about having sex with kids.
