I laugh when all says " sniper is just a campaer who shoots ". So why to bark if doesn't know. Sniper needs to know what is gravity, not a fucking CoD shit game, snipers need to know wind speed and bullet speed, and distances how far the enemy is. I love sniping.

You can't really go wrong since it is so cheap. I got the game for £5. If you do get it you just have to install the ACE mod, that mod is about 2GB+ and really improves everything. I recommend you buy the GOTY edition which will be more expensive but worth it though.

actually umm no thats what they train people to do in that kind of situation to make it seem like the sniper didn't know who he killed. They made it as realistic as possible but in real life it would be a lot harder to tell who you killed

No, I think they did what I call ´take cover' but since it was an open area there was nothing to take cover behind so they threw themselves to the ground hoping the sniper would take them for dead, this is what I call 'playing dead'....logical right?

well basically but if u were really in that kind of situation then yes but if it was in like a fire fight you would drop to the ground and if you saw the flask of the muzzle you would more than likely start shooting at their general direction no? but you are right and i agree but i also think that you wouldn't play dead if it was your friend.

Yeah, very soon. Um, I do not personaly use cheats so I would not have any clue if there were any. But the beaten dog mission is pretty simple. Just do what your told, hold the hill, kill a few guys with the SAW then retreat back to truck to help defend other location. Not sure if there is anything after that. Did the campaign a long time ago...

It all depends on your view of a game. People like you usually judge their opinion on little or no points of reference what so ever. ArmA is a game for people who can handle strategy and actually plan things rather than what you do in CoD4. CoD4 is for you if you like to: -Run -Shoot -View Kills -Die -Spawn -Repeat (Only in that order) Personally I'd rather spend my time playing out war how it is supposed to played, with patience and planning. Multiplayer has ranks. In turn some mp missions have your rank up to get weapons, some are unlocked. But there is countless missions you can do. Armaholic is a good site to grab some mods.

I believe this has to do with the whole ai scripting. But... since they have no clue where the bullet came from initially, they just seem to plop down.

Very nice. The first Video Ive seen someone else like me using the sight adjustment mod.

Just a tip. try to get the distance with your mil-dot reticle. thats what it was build for. i usually double check if i have the time.

in case you dont know how to determine the distance via scope:

target height (in arma 1.80m i think) x 1000 divided by the size of the target in the scope. example:

soldier fills out 2 dots from head to feet.

1800 / 2 = 900

works like a charm!

Yeah I love the sight adjustment mod since the first time I found it. I get what you are saying there. But before I filmed this I roughly figured out the range estimation, then the acurate measurement, and then went on from there to calibrate the shot, so I really didn't show much of that part. Unless I filmed myself in real life, lol. But thanks.

I belive the sight adjustment mod also goes off either a MOA or a Mil, so a MOA is about 1.07 at 100 yards. then you get into milliradians.. so 600 yards=6(MOA X R=Inches). inches/R = MOA. So basicly 5MOA/1/4 = 20 clicks.

Not necessarily, an unknown attack would cause a person to run to cover and hide, even if they knew where the shot came from. These guys would be more in shock then anything else... and not knowing adds to the fear of a person. But these are just AIs being AIs. :P

Usually on Armaholics you just go straight to the bottum of the page under the FTP and click on the file you want to download. Not sure what your trying to "dl" though.

Sorry, I was gone for awhile. Well when you first make the helicopter it should have a bunch of options like cargo and stuff, Make sure it isn't on flying. Hope that helps a bit. Reply if you need any more help.

Great Sniping my friend i love sniping that way.. for example if i see an enemy squad i always take out the sniper then the medic and after that the Squad Leader and then after that its random..

Thanks, Yeah I love sniping. It's always good to take out the snipers first :) Don't want them killing you before you achieve your mission... Then if your far enough you can take out all the higher ranks on down... which is like what you said. Don't want too many shots from one location though, gives away your position

Yes it is an exellent online game. I got the ghillie suit and Sniper elevation/wind MOA elsewhere though. Not hard to find at all.
