actually, no. Its not the same! He is playing a G5 with a G bass. But the song is suppose to be a G5 with a C bass. The root note in each chord, G5, Bb5 and C5, is suppose to be the high note, not the bass note!

Sounds good... 'cept to be perfectly honest and frank, you aren't playing it correctly. I suggest that you get a Hal Leonard tab book (Hal Leonard's books are accurate) and check out the correct way to play it. I believe that you will find that in order to find the right "feel" you will need to play it correctly... in order to get the right bends.

Btw... the tabs on the net are famously WRONG as well. fwiw.
